Very adequate hotel for a visit to Arromanches. Very pleasant reception and breakfast staff. Has an elevator, which is nice. Rooms small and clean. Plumbing good. Main thing is the location about one hundred meters across the parking lot, which is free from 7PM to 9AM, from the main attraction in the town, the Musee du Embarquement. We parked there...

True, this is an old hotel, and that is part of its charm. We made our reservations several months in advance and snagged a twin room on the sea with windows on two sides. It was perfect. The beds were comfy and the bath was plenty roomy for our two night stay. We had dinner in the dining room the...

Spur of the moment decision to stay at hotel since we planned a day trip from Paris only. Restaurant drew us in. Good menu but very overpriced. Staff very friendly which helped to make up for the minuses in the room. Small with terrible mattress. Beautiful view but room too hot. For every plus there was a minus. Again staff...

This hotel is Ibis quality and no more. The location on the sea front is nice and if you can get a room with sea view it's lovely BUT - don't eat in the hotel unless you like very expensive rubbish. I wouldn't stay here again, as having a sea view isn't top of the list for me. We got...

We origianlly were going to spend two nights here and ended up staying four. It was a great location to drive to all of the D-day sites and museums then return for a quite evening on the beach. The hotel is older but very clean and the staff was wonderful and very accomodating. Rooms are small but that is the...

Our previous night was spent on Le Mont San Michel where I felt like a Princess in a Castle. The sat nav finally got us to the hotel after walking along the promenade. On arrival we were assured where we had parked for free would be ok (it was) our room was on the 2nd floor but up a flight...

This hotel has a perfect location if you plan to visit the landing beaches. it is a bit more expensive than other hotels in the area but you get nice rooms. Ours had a sea view although not all rooms do. the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is right across a good museum and has a good restaurant...

Lets say firstly, the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Unfortunately our late booking left only tiny rooms available because the hotel location is premo. The walls were so thin in our #237 room I thought someone was blow drying their hair in our room. Our bath was as small as an indoor ship cabin bath, we dubbed the...

La Marine is situated in the best possible position on the seafront at Arromanche with views from the restaurant and seafront facing rooms emcompassing the whole of the remains of the Mulberry Harbour out to sea. We had a two night stay and regarded the hotel as the proverbial "curate's egg" - good in parts. The staff were very friendly...

The hotel was very old. The carpet was stained and badly needed to be replaced. There was an air freshener in the room that failed to disguise the stale odour. The bedspread had stains on it and when we asked for a replacement we were told that nothing could be done until the housekeeper came in the next day. It...
