I had a lovely welcome when I arrived at T @ A. I just wanted to go to my room after travelling all day, shower and sleep. I was given a lovely bottle of cold, crisp white wine to take with me. Screw top - very thoughtful!!!!!!!! Breakfast next morning was lovely warm crusty bread with home made jam and...

Having looked at their website we were really looking forward to our stay. They made us feel very welcome on our arrival but things went downhill from then on. We arrived at about 18.30 and had booked a meal at Les Papillons. We were offered wine in the garden and the cushions on the furniture was completely covered in cat...

We appreciate the review and will do everything we can to correct any justifiable criticism. Our award winning Boulangerie were however very unhappy about this review as we purchase the baguettes fresh within half an hour of breakfast and they are normally still warm from the ovens. We on the other hand were very pleased that this couple found alternative...

We have been before, admittedly a while ago, and found Tom and Andrew charming and helpful hosts as we remembered them. A couple of reviews recently said they were disappointed and referred to the smell. We have no idea if the smell was the same or not but we thought it was just a normal rural odour. These old houses...

After reading the reviews and viewing the website, we expected a charming place to stay with helpful hosts. We were greeted very warmly, it is true, but found the accommodation (the separate gite) was not maintained very well. There was a distinct mouldy/rot smell in the main floor of the gite so we had to leave windows and doors open...

An awful, putrid moldy stench permeates the small apartment (the "gite") that does not abate with a cross breeze. It was too sickening even to eat inside. When we ran out of toilet paper, our hosts asked us to buy our own. The farm animals were generally charming, especially if you like them on your dinner table. There was general...

Thank you Andrew and Tom for your hospitality during our recent stay! Les Papillons was a real gem. This old farm house in the country is ideally situated for exploring The Dordogne region. It is a short walk through orchards to the river and then another short walk along the river into Bezac with its fine restaurants and superb castle....

My wife and I came to this area to stay at this quaint B & B at the recommendation of friends. The only way I can describe is, it was like visiting old friends in the country. Tom and Andrew made us feel very welcome in their home. The animals around the property were funny, entertaining and each came with...

Andrew and Tom made us feel like members of their family for the few days we stayed at Les Papillons. We had the run of their lovely home with its clean and bright rooms, luxury beds and convenient bathrooms. It was the ideal place from which to explore the Dordogne valley. Andrew and Tom helped us make the most of...

What a lovely welcome from two of the most caring guys you could wish to meet. They looked after us in their home as if we were part of their family and the food was beautifully cooked and served with a never ending supply of wine. This has got to be one of the best B&B locations in the Dordogne...

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights at Andrew and Tom's B&B and could not have been more pleased. They are very hospitable hosts who go out of their way to create a pleasant and pleasing environment. Breakfasts on the beautiful grounds under the whisteria vines and willow tree was always pleasant. They are very knowledgeable re. the area...
