This is a true villa, Inside are original antiques in the common areas as well as the rooms, which are better than 5 star hotels I have stayed at. The bathroom was one of the nicest I've seen, better than the Ambassador Hotel In Vienna. The place is kept spotless. The view from my room as well as the terrace...

The location with breathtaking views on the waterfall and Bad Gastein. The warm hospitality of Iris, Wolfgang und herr Director Katz who gave us the right feeling of being...

Don't even bother looking for anything else - this is the best place to stay in town if you want a view. The private terrace for guests and the restaurant terrace (where you have the delicious included breakfast every morning) have the hands down absolute best view of the breathtakingly beautiful views of Bad Gastein. This really is an exceptional hotel - if you're looking for a classy boutique-style place to stay in the Austrian alps I doubt you'll find anything better - we certainly scoured most of the area south of Salzburg and didn't come across anything that looked as nice as this! Positives 1. Its a beautiful and immaculately well kept historic villa....

We spent a wonderful week in this pretty little villa! It is really a gem. We had the attic room, it was very spacious, comfortable and amazingly quiet. The room and the hotel in general was very clean and tidy. The hotel is kept very well, the old charm of the villa is taken into consideration in all details. The...

We were staying for a week at a timeshare in Zell am See, but wanted to get away for one night to hike and and visit the famous mineral baths in Bad Gastein. After much searching on the internet, we finally found Villa Solitude, located next door to the Casino in the center of Bad Gastein, and a five minute...

This Ski resort is completely different to all the others, it is not prettily alpine as are most of the others around, but it had a curious quality all of its own, Villa Solitude echoed this feeling. The hotel is more of a converted family home, and we were put in a suite on the ground floor, consisting of a...

Stayed for a long weekend at Villa Solitude. Got there after 11pm on the Friday night. A very nice chap showed us to our room, pointed out the waterfall visible from the room balcony and then invited us back down to the bar for something to eat or drink. Nothing felt like it was going to be too much trouble....
