My girlfriend and I stayed here at the end of April 2014 for 2 nights. We loved it. We had a ground floor room in the back left corner and whilst smallish and slightly dark, it was beautifully finished and very clean. The rest of the hotel was lovely though -great pool and loungers (you need it as Granada is...

We were able to book a night here at the last minute on our way down to Ometepe Island. It lived up to our expectations of being a charming, nice colonial hotel right in central park. There is a beautiful pool, but keep in mind that a courtyard pool in a colonial city only has about 1 hour of full...

This lovely hotel is in the centre of Granada on the square and overlooking the large impressive cathedral. Our room was huge and we had a large balcony where we could watch the comings and goings in the Plaza. My only complaint would be the size of the bathroom which was tiny. The swimming pool is well maintained and spotlessly...

Our first two nights in a Granada, we stayed two nights in a very nice, highly-rated hotel a bit further from the centre. For the next two nights, we stayed at Hotel Plaza Colón. We preferred Hotel Plaza Colón by a significant margin. This hotel is certainly punching above its weight. The staff were superb — really helpful. They remembered...

We spent two nights in this very pleasant colonial-style hotel in the center of Granada. The location couldn't be better, as the front of the hotel faces the central park and is directly across from the cathedral. Our second-floor room, which opened to a courtyard balcony, was dark, with little natural lighting, but it was huge, and we were happy...

Stayed here our first two nights of our 16 day trip and loved everything about it. The hotel arranged our pick up from the airport and we ended up using that company ourselves for the odd taxi service for us personally as the drivers were so great and prices were the same or just slightly higer than the norm, run...

We spent 4 nights at the Plaza Colon and it could not have been better! The room was perfect, very clean and the balcony overlooking the plaza was our favorite place to sit in the evenings. Victor and the rest of the staff were the best and always helpful. The pool was another favorite hangout and was never crowded. The...

Exceptional location, service and facility. No hotel has a better location in Granada. The exterior is attractive, but the real beauty lies with the two interior courtyards. The hotel has a cozy colonial feeling along with modern amenities. The staff was friendly, professional and I cannot imagine a better experience.

Love the Plaza Colon. Only problem is it will spoil you for everywhere else you'll ever stay! It just won't be as nice, have as much character, or have as heartwarming and caring staff. We cannot wait to stay again, it's just So beautiful! And yes will be the best place you'll ever stay for $100.
