I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this very special hotel. Beautifully maintained and oh so charming! The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. High quality mattresses and fine bed linens make for a restful night's sleep. Excellent wifi, Excellent & caring staff, One night I did not feel well and a staff member brought me menus from...

The Plaza Colon's excellent location, just across from the cathedral and central plaza make it an excellent debarkation point for exploring the colonial city of Grenada. Grab one of the rooms with a balcony if you want to enjoy the synergy of the plaza - unless of course you are a light sleeper, as the cacophony of noise from the...

Plaza Colon is an absolutely outstanding hotel. The staff was friendly, professional, courteous, helpful, and enthusiastic. Our double room was very spacious, well-equipped, and the AC worked like a champ. Lots of storage and an electronic safe. The public areas are immaculate and the maids mopped the wooden floors at multiple times during the day. Nice, small business center with...

We got in early, before check in. We were able to drop our bags at the front desk and we hit up the adjoining cafe. We had to wait about 2 hours for our room to be ready. The hotel has a long front area along the street facing the main square. The cafe is open during the day and...

Have you ever been on a vacation that met ALL your expectations? That's how we felt staying at the Hotel Plaza Colon. Every single contact we had with staff felt like running into a friend, rather than being at a hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful - our favorite way to end each day was to sit on the front...

What we loved about this hotel is the balcony for people watching! They offered large balconies that overlooked the town square and the rooms were also oversized. They kept everything clean and the food and service was quit nice from someone who has never been to Nicaragua and didn't know what to expect. The only negative I could possibly have...

This hotel is situated in the perfect location - across the street from Central Park and close to a great variety of restaurants. This boutique hotel is immaculate, providing excellent customer service and amenities. The bar was very good, offering nightly drink specials. The breakfast buffet was superb, offering eggs any style made to order, popular breakfast meats, and local...

This hotel is gorgeous. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Good location, nice beds! Visit the chocolate museum just down the street, it's really worth the look. The square across from the hotel is busy and full of interesting people.

I had to be in Granada recently on a certain date at a certain time. It was not possible to stay at my usual hotel, but I was able to reserve here. I have been to Nicaragua 3 times and know Granada well. This time..I was not at all disappointed! Although the hotel is very central, my room was quiet...

I must have emailed them at least five or more times, asking for info and with requests. They always responded promptly and were helpful. We needed to store our luggage there six hours before check in, no problem (they even made sure they provided us with a cup of coffee before our volcano hike), help getting transportation, no problem, recommendations,...
