Immaculate and comfortable room with excellent shower. Courtyard in the middle is delightful, and pool was welcome after a hot day's sightseeing. Bar and cafe overlooking the main plaza to watch the world go by. All staff were friendly, welcoming and attentive, and the central location is ideal for visiting the sights of a lovely city.

The Plaza Colon is located in heart of Granada right on the central plaza. This is a great central location, and is walking distance from many Granada attractions, but it very touristy, with many pesky vendors around. The hotel is fine. The room was nicely appointed and the AC worked well. Our room had no chair, no chair at all....

Beautiful hotel with staff very attentive and dedicated to customer service. Our balcony room was immaculate and well furnished. Second room had a lovely patio area. The included Breakfast was buffet style with custom eggs, very nice. Parking was a little tight but worked and was complementary. Location was on the main plaza across the street from the cathedral. Horse...

Comfortable room with modern walk-in shower and marble bath. The room isn't huge, but it isn't tiny either (we slept in a room with a single queen bed). The air conditioning works well, and is quite quiet. The courtyard in the middle of the hotel with the pool is beautiful. The whole layout is quite beautiful, with gorgeous wood floors...

We're a family of three with an age range running from 9 to 48 and we all loved Hotel Plaza Colon. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The pool, though small, was a well-kept hangout for us for several stretches. The room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious and more than fueled...

Very comfortable and friendly hotel. All of the staff were accommadating and very helpful. We recommend booking a balcony room overlooking the cathedral. We love to sit in the rocking chairs and watch all the activity going on in the square- the market stalls, horse carriages, birds flocking to the tree tops in the evenings. The bar is comfortable in...

Granada is the oldest preserved Colonial city in the Americas. Having stayed at several hotels in Granada this is the best. True colonial building restored to luxury standards. Other "highly rated" hotels in the area are ok, but the air conditioning barely works, bugs in room, poorer service. Not at the Hotel Plaza Colon! Beautiful rooms with mahogany ceilings. Spa...

Colonial style hotel in great location facing the plaza and cathedral but with quiet cool areas to rest in. Inner courtyard has small pool to cool off in and if you have it to yourself it's possible to do mini lengths! Staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast by the pool, rooms comfortable and with character. I requested a quiet room...

The hotel is located on the main square, opposite the famous cathedral and across from the main pedestrian street that runs down to the lake and has many of the best restaurants. In other words, the location is fab! They have a beautiful pool and luxurious, tasteful rooms. The breakfast is $7 and after sampling many other breakfast spots in...

We stayed in the Plaza Colon because it was right on the Plaza, with the horse drawn carriages out front to take us around this beautiful, Spanish Colonial town on the lake! We were also in walking distance of all the best restaurants and shopping. The hotel itself was a beautiful, Colonial 2 story building that oozed with charm, with...
