I stayed at the Hotel Colonial for four days this January 2015. Far too long for a trip to Granada. Granada is a great historic city which is about 45 minutes from Managua. It has some historic building and a great museum and churches. The room was very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. The rooms were somewhat dark...

Dear Guest, Thank you for you comment. Regarding the matresses, we actually have already recently changed all of our matreses to be firm. We had to choose from having soft ones or firm ones and the majorities of the guests prefer the firm ones. But thank you for the comment, We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Granada and...

Excellent located in the middle of evrything. Nice and helpful staff. Excellent outdoor breakfast (indoor if you like). Nice pool.Rooms nice but some are too much humus smelling. Some constant trouble with room keys make it necessary to revist reception a little to often. Anyway these minor things did not disturb our over all impression of a really colonial stay...

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind comment. We are glad you enjoyed your stay here with us. Regarding the keys, ours are electonic with a magnetic band, sometimes when you place them near credit card, keys and cell phones they demagnetize. Thank you again for staying here and we hope to have you stay here again in...

This is a great hotel in a perfect location in Granada. The rooms are spacious, if only a bit on the dark side. Rooms near reception and on the ground floor do get lots of noise at times. There is a small pool with a bar where you get to sit in the water and be served drinks. What makes...

This hotel was excellent! I travelled with three friends during the holiday season and booked a double room. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and beautiful. The staff was incredibly accommodating at the front desk, pool and bar. The pool area was stunning. The breakfast was delicious. We had an evening flight from Managua and they offered reliable and affordable...

Loved everything about this hotel. Started with excellent service at front desk, the welcome drink from the bar as you settle in - yum! Our room was superb, great comfy bed, big white comforter, pillows, etc (it's the little things that put it over the top!) two bottles of complimentary water, fantastic hot water in the shower, A/C, room was...

This little gem is just steps from the main square and dripping with charm. Owned by a Frenchman and with an Italian chef, it has two small pools, gorgeous bougainvillea pouring over the walls, a very helpful staff, large clean and comfortable rooms and excellent breakfasts (the only meal we ate at the hotel). Highly recommended, and the city was...

First, the location was perfect. Right across from Central Park but far enough away from the busy tourist area. Close to buses and colectivos. Rooms were clean and comfy with two pools. I LOVE this hotel and I would definitely stay here again. It is centrally located and walking distance to all the important attractions in downtown Granada. The room was very clean, comfortable and had a very large bathroom. The swimming pool and bar were great. We had a great breakfast in the restaurant in the morning.
