Just spent one night here on my way back to the States. I took a fall and was injured and in a pretty foul mood as I was cutting my trip short by two weeks to get medical care ... Gerald's compassion and care, the comfort of the space, the unasked for help, the extra detail of care...It was a... More

Excellent location. Gerry is a fountain of knowledge on Nicaragua! He will advise you on where to go and the best way to get there. The pool is so good to cool off in after your day out. If you want to take a cycle around Granada you can borrow a bike!

A nice place with a swimming pool in the centre. Great for young couples, I think they have about 7 rooms, which are quite spacious with private bathroom and nice beds. Cool Irish owner dude. Only negative is that aircon costs extra. Otherwise good value for money.

I stayed at Casa del Agua last March with 2 friends. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Jerry, the owner, is really kind, always available to give good advice. We stayed in the upper room with 3 singles beds and it was perfect for our needs. I read before coming a bad comment about the confort of the... More

Staying at this hostel was a great experience. Jerry (the ex-pat owner) was a delight from the beginning. He knew exactly what to see and where to go. He was knowledgeable on how to get around Nicaragua - just as great as he was, his hostel was too! The pool, although small, was perfect for cooling down from the HOT... More

This was one of the best places we stayed in Nicaragua. The rooms have a lot of character and the pool is small but perfect to cool off in and our 7yr spent hours in it. The owner, Gerry, couldn't have been more helpful. As well as ensuring we did some good trips and had some lovely meals he even... More

Great place to stay in the centre of Granada. Basic and a bit old, but clean and with charm and not expensive! Hot water and fan in the room. Very friendly (Irish) owner, and a nice little pool. We stayed for 2 nights. Transfer from airport to the hostel was convenient.

Casa Del Agua is a quiet and peaceful respite in the heart of Granada. It is easy to get to whatever you want from this well kept hotel. The lake, the park, restaurants and shops are easy and close by. The rooms are nice, the pool is clean, and you even get hot donuts as part of your breakfast. Gerry,... More

My husband and I spent 2 nights here and had a lovely time. Gerry, the Irish owner, is so lovely and makes everything very easy.
