Posada Las Brisas took me in when Oasis lost my reservation and left me stranded late at night. The room was air conditioned and very comfortable and I would have liked to have stayed on, but they were fully booked starting the next night. Six months later, back in Granada, I signed on with Bayardo, their in-house Spanish teacher and...

I was looking for lodging after my few days trip to the Oasis of Eternal Spring (Matagalpa, Jinotega, Esteli) and stumbled upon Posada Las Brisas on a main tourist entertaining strip Calle La Cazada leading from the Parque Central Granada to the lake harbour. This hostel is family run by a delightful couple Roberto Anzoategui and Maria Corea. It is...

A 'hustler' latched onto us at the main central park of Grenada and my wife told him we were looking for something inexpensive. She mentioned $20, and sure enough Jorge found us a place (actually just under $19). Unfortunately there were a few issues. There were no rooms available with air conditioning, so we opted for a ceiling fan and...

This family run hospidaje is quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and secure. I would stay here again and again for the price was unbeatable compared to some of the larger hotels. However I'd recommend calling in advance to be sure there is a room available. There is usually no problem in finding a room there, however when there...

I have stayed in Granada 2 times previously and stayed at $80+ a night hotels. This little Posada is between $15 and $20 a night and the only thing they don't have that the expensive ones might have is AC and a TV in the room. Since I don't want TV, the only thing missing was AC, however, with the...

The location of the guesthouse is very good in calle calzada close to many restaurants and the parque central but still the rooms are very quiet. I had a look at different guesthouses in Granada and chose this one as the rooms are remarkably nice and clean. There are nice common areas with a kitchen and computers which can be...

I have stayed in Granada a several times and had a variety of hotel experiences here, from budget to luxury... Posada Las Brisas was a surprise discovery for me! Posada Las Brisas is top-notch, hands-down one of the absolute loveliest places in Granada. Having spent a solid two months in Granada, I investigated over a dozen budget hostels and hotels in the city (all within the $6-30/night range). After careful comparisons, I chose to stay with Posada for over a month and the lovely family that owns this place...
