Maria manages the hostel - she is great at her job! Not only is she welcoming, always around, helpful/knowledgeable but we know she ensures the hostel is safe from malicious non-travellers. There is a lot of places to chill out (with sufficient wifi coverage, charge up, stay cool by the pool and a smoking terrace to socialise) - breakfast is...

Hostel Oasis is a nice, clean place to stay in the heart of Granada. A little difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the city, but that's kind of part of the colonial charm. There is a basic hostel kitchen that has everything you would need, free filtered water, free tea and coffee and free breakfast with pancakes, bananas,...

I stayed here with friends to conclude out 5 week Nicaragua trip, and it definitely ended on a lovely note! This place is cozy, friendly, and has a nice kitchen. The location is perfect and the pool is great. Shared showers are typical in a hostel and they were brand new. Internet works well in certain parts and staff is...

Private room with a tall ceiling. Great for young or solo travelers. Lots of information on tours and things to do while in Granada. Pancakes and bananas for breakfast. Hammocks for relaxing. They organize a day trip to Laguna de Apoyo, which was great. You can use one of their towels for a deposit that you get back upon returning...

Oasis has a really helpful staff, great location, and a peaceful ambiance. The only issue I had was they didn't have my reservation from HostelWorld but they were still able to accommodate me. You can't beat free pancakes every morning!

Great place to stay and the pool is small but refreshing in the mid day heat. Staff are excellent and full of information on the area and attractions. Took a boat tour of the islets on Lake Nicaragua arranged through the hostel and the tour guide Christopher as well as the boat driver were excellent. A wonderful way to spend...

Plenty of washrooms and showers. All the bed have their own fan and outlet. Large lockers to put all your belongings in. They provide...

When we arrived to Granada, we were hot and felt discombobulated. We stumbled upon Oasis and so glad we did. Maria the owner was there as we were checking in and was very hospitable to us. The hostel serves all you can eat pancakes, fruit, and coffee/tea. There's a pool as well, along with a relaxing terrace. We stayed in...

Vibe is a little unusual with lack of bar, but plenty of travelers to interact with. Enforced quiet hours are a positive. Free food for breakfast, unlimited coffee, lots of hammocks are good touches. WiFi is spotty if you are on the second floor, but common areas are good. Photos make it look nicer than it appears. Private rooms are...

By giving you a small clean pool, free filtered water, free 10 minute phone call, free local calls (no cel) all you can eat breakfast, free towels, open kitchen , tons of bathrooms and showers with water pressure, superb location, quiet stay, free movies, free book exchange, real...
