If coming to Granada, Nicaragua, then consider this place. The breakfast is ample, water free and good free wifi. Very safe and there is always someone on the door. The front rooms can be a little noisy, due to traffic, but it is mainly during the day. The hotel is well located to the centre of town, for cafes &...

We have loved this hotel since our first stay there in 2008. It is owned and run by the Chamorro family, who seem to be ever present. Katya always does everything she can to make our stay pleasant and to help us enjoy Nicaragua.

Katya operates a very nice and clean establishment, and provides excellent suggestions on places to visit in the area, as well as arranging transportation too! Breakfasts are well balanced and tasty, just right for starting out each day.

We had just arrived in Granada late Saturday afternoon and learned that our twice confirmed reservation for the week at La Bocona had been given away. After a frantic search for a place to stay we ended up at the Colonial for the night (nice place but way over our budget). Later that night while having dinner at a restaurant...

This is a small hotel that is very well located - close to the Church of Mercedes and 3-4 blocks away from the main plaza. The location is quiet and very safe, close to all of Granada's attractions. The supermercado is within walking distance and if you are coming from Masaya, the small bus terminal is close by. The room...

Staying here was incredibly enjoyable. The room was comfortable with high ceilings. The local art hanging everywhere was beautiful and for sale if you're interested. Great wifi. The breakfast was simple yet delicious. Most importantly, Katya, the owner, is such a kind hearted person who was overly accommodating and helpful. We will 100% be staying here our next visit to...

My husband and I were in Grenada for 1 night and chose this small affordable hotel 4 blocks from the central park. Kathia, the owner, and her staff were very accommodating. Our small, clean, modern room had A/C, a balcony facing the street and a comfortable bed. Kathia speaks english very well and was able to set up a boat...

Stayed three nights and had a nice experience. We didn't pay to include breakfast since it was just a croissant and some coffee, but they offered it to us for free one morning when we woke up late. Best part was the location - right near downtown so you're far enough away to skip the loud music, but close enough...

This is a cute little hotel located really centrally but in a quiet spot just round the corner from Iglesia del Merced and a couple of blocks from the main plaza. Simple rooms but the staff are what makes it special. Katya the owner is lovely, incredibly friendly and helps with any arrangements, giving you an honest opinion of what...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Terrasol hotel is constructed as a neighbor's typical colonial house, which turns it a hotel with enchantment totally equipped to the present necessities of comfort, keeping a esthetic and a decoration, so that their stay and lodging in Granada are unforgettable. Our hotel in Granada respects the initial structure of the building, that is to say, the rooms are arranged around three balconies with huge views to the outside, from which the majestic Mombacho volcano can be appreciated. ... more   less
