At least twice a year we visit Ko Chang, and than we always Stay in Garden Resort, Kai Bae. In the middle of Kai Bae, but once you enter the resort it is serene. The owners are great and together with the staff friendly and very helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Good mattress. Fridge, flatscreen with apple tv, thousands of movies on their own Nas system. Everything you need for a plesant stay. In the back a nice Salt water swimming pool up to 3 meter deep. In the front there is a nice bar with big cinema with surround sound. So on a rainy day you can still enjoy the hospitality. Breakfast is simply great. Very extended with daily fresh bread. You can find cheaper places on Koh Chang, but no second Garden resort. Highly recommended

Very nice and family-friendly accommodation on Koh Chang at Kai Bai Beach. Very nice bungalow with 2 rooms with door in between so children could live in one part and parents in the other. Close to the beach and a nice salt water pool in the area, simpler but good breakfast. Would love to stay at this hotel again and very affordable.

A lovely little resort situated in the heart of Kai Bae, near bars, restaurants, 7/11, massage, not too far from the beach. It's set back off the road in a tropical garden setting with a nice clean pool with water feature. I booked in for 2 nights and asked for an upgrade at the last minute and ended up staying a 3rd night due to torrential rain and closed roads - however was not charged anything extra for this despite being the only guest that weekend due to cancellations from the weather and being the low season. The second time I stayed I also received a complimentary late check out. The SmartTV was a godsend in the terrible weather, one of the only places I have stayed where I can plug my USB/HDMI into - but also an extensive electronic movie library already set up, access to Netflix and Youtube etc. Giant pool towels, privacy despite being pool front, large fridge with icebox, clean rooms, great aircon, complementary water and coffee. Thai staff were friendly even with some communication difficulty at times. The owner was very personable and friendly, I'll be back.…

First of all i would like to say that in my opinion Kai Bae is the best zone for the whole island. Beautiful and very clean beach. Short central area, but has everything you need: restaurants, bars, exchange offices, supermarkets...., so you can use it easily. You can reach the hotel directly from the main street. Its amazing to be so central and to gives the feeling of an exotic asian village at the same time. Wonderful garden and a cute salt water pool. Very refreshing breakfast including local fruits and magical coffee which recharges you for new adventures. The very friendly staff and professional management make you feel safe and satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality!

I've been to Koh Chang before. This is the best place by far. One could stay at many places with fancy looks, etc. But none of those have a personality...this one does. Owner is cool. TV is off the charts...bed, awesome...refrigerator cold...the location is great..What more can I say? Jerry B
