My expectations were high before arriving to Nest sense resort and were surpassed from the very first moment I have arrived. Especially our room with private pool provided an excellent sea view, high level of privacy, was extremely clean and I felt comfortable throughout my stay. I would give a 6. point for the outstanding service, whenever there was a little problem, staff assisted immediately.

Thanks for a great 3 days stay with many nice memories which last for good.

PS: To the staff. The Himmelbar bar / club had some very loud music throughout every night, so if you could do anything about it for future guest Im sure they would appreciate it ;-)

We stayed at Nest Sense February 14-18 2023 and I cannot rave about this hotel enough! The check in process was simple and smooth. The front desk staff spoke English very well and answered any questions we had as well as helped us book our transportation to our next destination. The breakfast staff were equally as amazing and the service was perfect. There were quite a few items to choose from on the menu and the food was very fresh and delish! The views from the breakfast area were stunning.
We stayed in a beachfront pool villa and we felt like we were the only ones at the resort. The view was phenomenal from the room, the pool and the deck. There were deck chairs as well as bean bag chairs to sit on and the pool was the perfect size. The bed was super comfortable and the shower/bathroom area was everything you’d need and very well set up. The mini fridge was handy to have and there was tea and coffee available in the room.
The hotel was a great walking location for meals, Lonely beach and exploring. We rented a scooter from a local restaurant and drove around the island one day-definitely recommend doing that. The roads were safe and quite wide.

Definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking to treat yourself or enjoy staying in smaller resorts.

Nice and cosy hotel close to Lonely Beach. All rooms have great sunset views so no needs to pay extra for beach front - as it’s too rocky to swim anyway. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well designed... oh and the beds are massive!

Bar staff are friendly and tend to your needs. Food is fairly decent and breakfast was surprisingly good too. Happy hour is 4-6pm and great for sunset by the pool.

Overall I thought it’s a nice place to stay but the price point is relatively high for Lonely Beach... synonymous for backpackers.

We have stayed here before a couple of times a few years back, loved it and didn't hesitate to book again, we stayed for 4 nights in a Beach Villa as we've done previously. Over all we had good stay but there was a couple of things that niggled/ annoyed me this time, which was different to previous stays.

The villa's were tidy but looked very worn down (Stained floor tiles, shower cubicle could do with being scrubbed, mattress very old and creeky), the grass outside the villa was to spikey to walk on and looked dead. Maybe a sprinkler system to help keep the grass alive would be good?

When we made our booking and on the arrival form we were asked if we had any dietary requirements, we put down 2 Vegan people, but were not offered anything throughout the whole of our stay. Why ask if you're not going to do anything? The 1 thing we could eat was at breakfast, a few chopped mushrooms & onion on a slice of bread every morning, and a very small bowl of fruit, that was the only thing they could offer. The waiter kept asking if we wanted more of other menu items but didn't understand when we tried to explain to him we are vegan. We ate Lunch and Dinner elsewhere each day. Also they no longer have a coffee machine on the premises, only filter coffee.

I know it sounds like I'm moaning, but when this was the one thing I was looking forward to about the whole of my trip staying here again, these few little things did upset me a little. I would probably stay here again if these things were rectified.

Resort is quite small and atmosphere very relaxing. Location is very good = not in the busy spots but still short walk to restaurants etc. Own beach is not really swimmable, but good sandy beach is about 10min walk away. Pool is great and has amazing views. Good breakfast.

Room was clean and well taken care of.

This place is breath taking. It is a tranquil little hotel away from the hustle and bustle. It’s the ultimate relaxation spot. The staff are friendly and food is good although we found walking around 5 mins along the road you get some incredible and cheaper eats. If you are staying here though you MUST get a pool villa. The privacy and private pool is just amazing. The views are incredible and this has a real 5* luxury feel about it. I would recommend probably paying for the pool villa as opposed to the sea villas. The sea ones are more expensive and I’d argue there rooms were actually worse off as they were lower down therefore having a worse view. Either way this was the best place we stayed in Thailand and so cheap when you consider what you get

We stayed at the Nest Sense Resort for 2 nights, and booked a pool villa.

Actually I would give 5 stars, but in our poolvilla was an electric water-pump (directly in front of the bugalow) which obviously belonged to the pool, that made a constant noise (like an aircon).

It is unluckily positioned directly between the pool and bungalow, and running all day (until 6pm).
I asked if it can be switched off, unluckily not.

If I were the hotel management I would fix this, as it diminishes the quality of the otherwise nice bungalow. Due to this fact we didn´t stay there (outside) much during the day.

After 6pm. the pump switched off, then it was quiet and nice.
The rest of the resort is very nice, .. maybe no pool villa in the future.

This place delivered what it promised. It is centrally (but not too centrally) located, clean basic+ resort with some exclusive touches. Staff was really nice and spoke good English. I spent one day on the sunbed by the pool and there were only 3-4 other people besides me. Every here and there you can see signs of upkeep and maintenance needed.

Best accommodations in Loney Beach. We had a wonderful stay here for a week. The staff were amazing and very helpful with any needs from laundry service to scooter rental and more.
The restaurant was great as well.

While we were there, they had some small construction going on but that is to be expected swing they are coming out of pandemic and gearing up for the busy season. Every resort on the island was going through the same process or preparations. Even with them being very apologetic for the noise, we could not hear much from our villa nor did the noise last long hours.

I can highly recommend Nest sense for a long or short stay.

As for Loney Beach area, the resort is within walking distance to everything. I will say that out of the whole island, Loney Beach seems to have taken the brunt of the pandemic losses of business. This did not bother us as we still had everything we needed close by or offered by the resort itself.
I would totally

Upgraded to the villas (about double of normal rooms) overlooking the sea (not next to it as the resort has different levels) and it was breathtaking with a wonderful open plan, private pool, nestled next to the forest where you can watch the monkeys play. No sandy beach, but nevertheless stunning mangroves. Great service, great food and highly recommended.

How far is it to walk to the beach?
Answer from jpgb767
Dubai3 contributions19 helpful votes
Hello Christankee. The hotel itself doesn't have a beach but the ocean view is amazing. You can walk through the rocks to a lovely sand bank that forms when the tide is low. But for a real beach experience you can walk to lonely beach that's 20 mins away; but I recommend hiring a scooter for about 200 bht per day. You'll be able to go anywhere in no time.
