Very pleasant and clean little houses in Koh Chang. This was the first place we stayed at on our travels and very much loved this little resort. Not far from the bus station and shops and food stalls as well as the many beaches around the area. We hired a scooter which was very handy and cheap to get around...

These chalet type rooms with balconies are really lovely, clean and comfortable and in a great quiet location on the island, for a really good price. Its a lovely family run place (such a sweet family), and they do some really tasty food! This was the first place I stayed in when I visited Thailand for the first time, and...

We booked this hotel because it's very close to the ferry, and it's a 500 km drive from our home in Thailand. It's sufficient for staying a few nights, and to look for more convenient accommodation. The staff is nice, but I would not recommend this hotel

This is my 2nd review of Banphu Resort, My first was entitled "The best Resort I have stayed at in Thailand"..... Couldn't wait to get back here, exactly 12 months had past between visits. And the Magic is all but gone. The problem is that the family has now started running a noodle shop in the nearby village of Klong Son,...

Banphu Resort in Klongson Village is one of the most hospitable hotels in the entire Thailand! Good food, great ambiance, lovely outdoors and friendly people. The hospitality in Bangkok is a real turn-off, but at Koh Chang, and specially at the Banphu, we felt so at home! Very cosy, homely and comfortable!! We also really appreciated Peter's professionalism and his...

Located on the north point of the island which allegedly is to become the new "it place" but until that happens - not much to do around here. Still, the place is super clean and relatively cheap for what you get, although it is not a budget option - the rooms are big, have fan and/or aircon, fridge, big beds...

The room was a little dated in appearance but (major plus point) the kingsize bed was superbly comfortable. No need for AC so only paid 400THB for a fan room in low season. Since beachside rooms in other hotels cost 1500THB and up, this means you can have a car effectively for free. This allows you do a short drive...

Stayed here for one night. very pretty location surrounded by jungle. unfortunately there is nothing around it, had to walk about a mile down a hilly road to find somewhere for dinner as the resturant seemed to be closed. the service was nice though, we wanted a Chang or two but they didn't have any in stock so they drove...

I stayed at Banphu in May 2013, lovely little place somewhat in the jungle, quite far from the beaches and the pier. I had a downstairs basic fan bungalow for 400Baht with a small sort of terrace in front. There is also a very small balcony at the back, but it is not very well maintained and it doesn't have...

We stayed at Banphu Resort for 3 nights in early March 2013 towards the end of our 3 month S.E Asia trip and we both agreed that this was one of the best guesthouses of the whole trip. We were looking for something peaceful, comfortable, friendly, moderately priced and where the food was good quality. This place ticked all of...
