This hotel was of chalet type, room was big enough for us, two adults and child 8yo. Nice and clean room, bath with shower and bathtub, big comfortable beds. Sea was very close from the room, just a few steps away, it is visible in my photos. There were many good restaurants nearby, not expensive, cheap massage spa also nearby (8 USD for 1 hour). Breakfast buffet was basic, but ok. Sea shore was of dangerous stones, better use special bath shoes, or we used to walk to the other sandy beach nearby, just a 5 mins walk. Rented kayak there to visit small island in front of the hotel. Hotel pool was quite big and nice, though staff at the bar did not speak English well and drinks priced a bit higher, than in the restaurants around. So we preferred to go out for dining, not at the hotel. We also rented motorbike at the hotel to drive around the island. There was elephant farm excursion, that we booked outside off the hotel, nice, riding elephant for 1 hour in the jungle. A few cons: hotel window door was loose, should be fixed. Stair handles were totally broken, dangerous for the disabled or older customers, not a problem for us though. No shoes allowed in the breakfast area, we were not used to such restrictions, though not a big deal.

The best experience on Koh Chang. We stayed in a superior sea view room 10 meters from the sea with a stunning sun set view. Great big terass shade all day and absolutely wonderful views. The pool was amazing, large and warm. Great sunset views and a restaurant on the side with drinks and food. Breakfast was rich and varied every day. Personal really nice and helpful. Five stars guys!!!!!!

Stayed here for 10 days in February and didn’t want to leave. The accommodation is basic but has everything you need, fridge, air con, terrace, safe, shower, kettle. We did only have cold water a few days but it was so hot out that it was ok. The pool area is so beautiful with a great restaurant and bar alongside the pool. Very close to all bars and restaurants. There is no beach but it’s only a 5 minute walk away. I will definitely stay here again. A big mention to the staff who work so hard, especially the garden maintenance guys.

Coral resort Koh Chang We paid 1500bht (about £40) per night for what was supposed to be a top resort, I’ve stayed in much better rooms for 300bht. The only other rooms with a sea view were more than £90 a night. The room :- Was cleaned every day. But sorry that is the only good thing I can say about the place. The air con’’ is a con it hardly does anything. The beds were creaky and uncomfortable. The bathroom when you had a shower the toilet got soaked. There is a hole in the roof and ceiling so mosses get in. The extractor don’t work so it smells damp. When you turn on the sink tap it moves. You can hear all from next room. The TV was old on the plus side there were a couple of English Channels. Free wifi is a joke slow at best. The pool is a good size but you share with the place next door. So not enough sun beds. Breakfast was just about ok. After 4 out of the 6 nights we booked we decided to move to some where we know is good and half the price. DO NOT BOOK THIS RESORT

Stayed at Coral Resort in December 2018. Very clean, breakfast plentiful and very tasty. The resort is not far from bars and restaurants and shops. Nearby is the Elephant sanctuary and Ko Chang Waterfalls.

We spent there 2 nights (family w/5 people, 3 rooms). The price is really cheap compared to other hotels in the island and the rooms are nice. The staff is super nice, helpful and efficient. We lost a bag during a trip and they went personally to take it and brought it to us. The swimming pool and the bar of the resort are both really nice. If you want to spend some night in Koh Chang, I think Coral Resort is the good place to stay at.

Location is great .quiet but a short walk from a busy street with bars and restaurants. Big minus is there is no Beach Big plus is as mentioned the location and the pool There was a restaurant at the pool but that was closed... So no drinks at the pool The breakfast is below average but grows on you. The staff is very nice And especially for families a great resort. ( - the no Beach) There are beaches close by but are harder to reach then they make believe. The whole stay was positive

this is my second trip to koh chang..i booked this hotel just for 2 days as i wasnt sure how it would be.i ended up staying here for almost a week. the only negative was it seems a bit run down eg. the bathroom has a funny stink at times and the pool chairs could have been better. the sea is also not accessible from the hotel . if u are willing to overlook these things its a wonderfully located resort with a great staff team. Bon was very helpful and her dedication to her work is visible. i would recommend to go for any of the sea view rooms as the view is incredible , you wake up to the sounds of the sea. the breakfast was decent. overall a nice experience if u have a budget. and yes the pool is fantastic and has a great view of the sea.

The resort offers rooms and nice little houses with seaview, We stayed in the first row semi-detached house with a nice view. The room was O.K. but according to our friends we were travelling with the bathroom needs some refreshment. We are not demanding tourists so we felt all right with it.... clean with no bad smells, in typical Thai style. Comfortable beds, a spacious room with some nice patio to sit and watch sunsets. Laundry avaible - 50bht per kilo. Tasty breakfasts - everyone will find sth for themselves. The resort does not have its own beach but the way to the nearest north part of Kai Bae is easy and short. According to me staying at Kai Bae is the best choice if you want to explore the island. In the south part of the beach there is a little harbour where you can go for a snorkling trip by boat or rent a kayak for reaching the nearest islands what is a great fun, beautiful wild beaches with lots of colourful fish within a few meters from them. If you want to go to White Sand Beach or Bang Bao Village take a songthaew for 50bht per person and 100bht (bang bao is more expensive). You can also rent a motorbike for 250bht a day from Coral Resort but drive carefully. The staff in the resort are very friendly and helpful people. We really appreciate their help when it was needed .

During our, my husband and i, vacation in Koh Chang island, CORAL RESORT was the best bangalow. We moved our resort about 5 times, we stayed in 3 bangalows and 2 superior rooms and among those Coral resort's bangalow was far more better. Spacious and clean especially the bed and sheets are new, i guess. Most of the facillities such as tv, minibar fridge and air-con are in good conditions. The bathroom was also clean and spacious. The best part of this place is the big and beautiful swimming pool. Water is pretty clean even it's outdoor pool. It's big enough to swim so bring your swimming goggles. I'm not sure whether they wipe the sun beds off everyday or not, but it's clean enough to lay down for tanning. There are a few sun beds so don't have to rush right after breakfast to get your own sun beds, lol. You can see palm trees and flower bushes and hear the sound of ocean wave while you swim. Also nice bar just next the pool. We spend very meaningful 3 days at this place, we would like to visit again.
