Alina Hotel is a wonderful hotel. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. They were very accommodating and did everything they could to make our stay most pleasant. The rooms are very clean and spacious and great for families. The pool was also very good. There is a convenience shop in the lobby with snacks, drink and other products. There is off street parking also available. The motorbike rentals directly from the hotel were less expensive than other rental shops near by. We look forward to returning in the future.
Our stay was cut short because this hotel was not what we expected. First the positives. The rooms were big. The pool area had sun on it most if not all of the day so if you are a sun worshipper this is perfect for you. If you are looking for somewhere with hardly any children also a perfect spot. Buffett breakfast at Dutalay over the road at 150 baht was good value for money. Cocktails next door for 100 baht were very good! They blew my mums head off haha! Now to the negatives. Very bad WiFi could only get connected down in reception. There was no lift. We were on the third floor. I was travelling with my parents who struggled and actually I found it hard in the heat to walk up the stairs too! No beach at that end of white sand beach. No bars on the beach because there is no beach! We thought this was more of a youth hostel type of a hotel and it was very expensive for what it was. I was actually ready to leave after the first night. We did move to another hotel further down the road for cheaper on the beach with a pool which also included breakfast. It just depends on your own personal preference. …
The room was spacious, you just ask at reception when you want bed changed, clean towels.small Pool and you get pool towels.Good location, about 7 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of shops and eating places (koh Chang island )
Very good hotel with spacious rooms, swimming pool and few meters from the beach.very quite if you have children.staff always polite and helpfull.the cleaning staff do marvelous job.booking for everything over the island in a good prices.
I stayed in a small chalet for one night. The beach right in front of the Alina is not a great beach but for a quick dip, it's not bad either. The Alina is located right in the centre of the main street, about a 100 meters from the food night market. This was why I chose the Alina when I drove through the town. It was a Saturday night so I don't know whether the food market is every night or just on weekends, but I'd assume every night. The hotel is a bit worn but works fine. Would not want to spend an entire holiday there.
