We had 8 fantastic nights here and the highlight of our 5 weeks in Thailand and Vietnam. Our first room had been made up to welcome us! We were later upgraded to an ocean view bungalow which was amazing. It was very hard to pick out an individual on the team who excelled, as from the staff on reception, the dining room, the house keeping, the garden and pool guys all contributed to our great stay. Our room was spotless, the gardens and beach were manicured, the breakfast was a variety of western and Thai dishes which we never tired of the selection and was constantly replenished. Around the pool there are sunbeds and on the beach there are deck chairs The beach is super safe and clean, no adverse currents and runs shallow to allow padding and then swimming. The beach bar was great and surprisingly not expensive unlike some other hotels I’ve stopped in. Around and about, we eat out in local restaurants, in particular Yummy, which was great value. There’s a 7/11 on the door and other places to restaurant options. We also had a couple of trips to Long Beach where the night life is a little more lively. I look forward to a return visit next year and probably take a little longer there next time.

The sandy beach is the star attraction here. Large trees provide shade, and there is a variety of chair options along the beach, including a couple swings at the water's edge. No shortage of helpful staff at the beach bar/restaurant, which has nice food. There are two swimming pools and the grounds are natural, complimenting the casual ambience. The rooms and bathrooms are adequate, as is the breakfast buffet.

Absolutely beautiful resort, the landscaping and the buildings design is stunning. As are the two swimming pools, beach from restaurant with great food, the beach itself was wonderful, so quiet and you felt like had a private island. I swam every day. Most importantly - the staff here go above and beyond everyone from manager, to housekeeping, front of house, gardeners, pool staff, restaurant staff, the whole team at Coconut beach were very kind people and I'll always remember that. Very sad to be leaving, absolute paradise. Also very close to 7/11, street vendors, massage and cafes/restaurants.

Kho Chang is a beautiful island covered with trees, mountains and waterfalls. There are perfect beaches on its western shore. On one of these is Coconut Beach Resort. It's scale and architecture suit this island. Some larger hotels there might as well be in overdeveloped cities. Accommodation is in clusters of two-story buildings innThai style, grouped around a beautiful swimming pool and tropical gardens. There are trees on the beach with hanging swings and womb chairs. The restaurant has tables at the edge of the beach. The Thai food is delicious - seafood in red curry, whole fish simmering at your table, grilled prawns - and there are cocktails to complete the holiday treat. Service is friendly and efficient.

Great to be back after the forced co-vid break. Took the plane to Trat, a reserved min-bus to the ferry and then to the hotel, about 2 1/2 hours after deplaning. Check in was fast and taken to room, a Superior Bungalow, beachfront (first time trying one here). It was truly beachfront, a few steps to the water with a large deck (no shade), two sitting chairs and short table. It was a large room, king bed, sitting area with couch, sliding glass doors to the deck. Also, TV (all Thai), fridge, coffee, tea, kettle, 2 bottles water, safe, work area with chair. The bathroom was large, tub with hand shower, in the middle, a bit above the tub (not high enough to shower). At night, the room is quite bright from all the grounds lighting. Generally good wifi. You can choose how often to make up the room, we had it done every 2 or 3 days, think that might be better for the environment. On the off days, they deliver a bag of room amenities plus 2 bottles of water. We've stayed here before co-vid and not much has changed at the hotel, there is much less beach due to a storm about 4 years ago followed by beach erosion but still room for beach chairs. There is a breakfast buffet with a mix of Thai and Western dishes. The Thai dishes were tasty and spiced for tourists. There was an egg station, bread, fruits, coffee, teas, overall, very good. They also have a beach restaurant, Yen Sabay, this is open for lunch and supper and is quite good too, also can buy beverages there. It is a large older hotel with many levels of room and have two swimming pools. There is a 7-Eleven, Lotus Fresh and Vee Mart on the street in front, a few restaurants, shops and vendors at night, a great location. There was a weekend night market across from 7-Eleven with music in a newly built area that also has new toilets. This is an older hotel and is showing its age but we still like it. We've stayed here before and will stay again sometime when back.

The Coconut Beach Resort provided a pleasant stay. The hotel was very clean though a little out dated as well as the staff being reasonably friendly. One issue we had was that the breakfast was too repetitive and got very boring, particularly the western menu. The beach isn’t very wide either.

The lady receptionist in the headdress upon arrival was cold and unfriendly. The curtains kept falling down. The rooms looked nice but when inspected required renovation and the bathroom looked like it had been fitted in a hurry with bare brick and pipework available. The furniture was old and tired looking. The private beach was not clean with Covid masks, broken bottles and some pills on the sand

Been to this resort three times. The location, beach right out the front, pools, rooms all immaculately clean. We visited late September and right in the middle of Thailand's Covid pandemic so very few visitors and I feel for them. But the breakfast which is normally full buffet and included in the room rate has been reduced to a choice of 4 things...Fried rice, Frankfurts and eggs, Franks and scrambled eggs and Franks and omelet. A couple of pieces of toast and jam. The photos show ham, eggs and franks but the ham MIA with no explanation. There is not even any tea or fresh milk. Instant coffee, powdered milk and hot water. Now I understand it may not be practical to have a buffet with a handful of visitors...but would it kill you to put out a plate of fruit, maybe a choice of a couple of cereals and fresh milk? at the least. These things aren't expensive. Maybe not a big deal to some but it kind of left a little bit of a sour taste in our mouth. Other small thing was the first Ferry leaves at 6.45am, and I am sure they know this. Why then did we have to go searching for someone in reception (opens 8.00am??) to get our 500 baht key deposit back? I feel sorry for these people in this crisis, but come on guys, somethings don't cost a lot but sometimes mean a lot. Maybe the manager might crack a smile and acknowledge her customers sometimes too when sitting in the dining area.

Been here in thailand for almost 6 years . Never have come across a halal resort, that served complete halal food . The staffs were very friendly especially the night dining staffs . The beach was exquisite , pleasant leisure . Swimming pool was fun , so much family friendly crowd, a must try huge array of delicious breakfast , even their restaurant menu were reasonably priced and very decadent. We loved spending most of our time in the beach and sea . Over all a lovely fun stay with family. My 8yrs old daughter had all the fun she cried when we left the resort.. The room we chose was next to pool, but it was old and there were many lizards which spoiled our night sleep . But the individual beach and sea view villa are good .

stayed here for three nights in february and we had booked beach facing villas , villas were clean and and internet was very good , our beachfront villas were directly facing the beach with fantastic views and a lovely sandy beach to swim , great for couples and families of all ages , breakfast was good with a great selection , so theres no need to go hungry , just out side the hotel on the road are a good selection of restaurants , chemist , and small supermarkets , if you wanted to go there would definitely book beach front villas , staff were friendly especially at the beach front bar .
