The rooms are alright and what you expect of the price, i paid about 450 B per Night. Ive got uppgraded from a small to a large house because lack of organization in their bookings. We didn't buy any breakfast but still they offered us the buffe, why we don't know and I'm afraid to ask. The people who work...

I just left Siam Bay Resort, it is located in a fantastic place, beautiful beach and peacefull. It is located a bit far away from any town, which is what I wanted. Scooter can be rented for 200 baht/24hours. Bad things: 1. It is expensive, because the bungalow was a bit old 2. Food, including breakfast, is the worst I...

I just came from here about 5 minutes ago.....we had arrived at koh Chang and was looking for a decent beachfront and was scouting the area.... I am Indian and very tanned... I saw a few white kids walking and I know they did not live there because we currently share the same hotel. Anyways, when my bf and I...

We started our stay on Ko Chang in a bungalow far away from the beach. It was decent, but we decided to rent a scooter on day 2 and check out some new places to stay on the beach. Most of the nice ones were too much for us; 5000-7000/night. No thanks! We found Siam Bay and right away fell...

The good - the beach is quiet and secluded, they have the great swings out over the water. So relaxing to swim, take a nap, go read a good book, or get a massage right on the beach (prices are identical to those in town, about 250 baht for 60 minute Thai massage). The ok - Rooms are just so-so....

We were a little concerned when we arrived as the resort is a big drive from the main road and the hills are very steep and winding. However there is Song Tao's to be ordered easily or if you are brave you can hire a motor bike which our friends did to get around. The closest town is Kai Bae...

Let's start with the downside to this hotel. We booked rooms at B600 per night, not expecting too much but the rooms we were given were awful. Sure, they were on the beach but I think they'd been put there 10 years ago and not used since. It took an upgrade to a beach villa (I think that's what it's...

I stayed here in 2008 so my review may be a little out of date, but judging from their website they've actually improved a few areas. I loved it at siam bay we had a 3 day deal including all meals and a snorkel trip (which was excellent) and a night time canoe trip which was less exciting as the...

Siam Bay Resort is a last quiet family resort on Koh Chang's beautiful west coast. Being located at the very end of Kai Bae beach, there are no clubs or beach bars with loud thumping music to keep you awake, there are no outsiders that just walk in and squat all the best places on the beach or next to the pool, there is no traffic noise: it is just you, your loved ones, an extremely safe beach and lots and lots of peace and quiet. ... more   less
