We stayed for two wonderful nights at the recently refurbished 4th floor of Lantaka Hotel. The view from the room was fantastic, allowing me to work through the night in quiet and inspiring surroundings. The room amenities were excellent except for the less than warm shower temperature. Dinner at Lantaka was delicious; try also their fried sweet potatoes and banana...

My first impression when I entered the hotel and my room in the older part of the hotel was quite disappointing, especially considering that the room prices are quite high! However, with the friendly service at the bar and in the restaurant I really enjoyed my stay. Lantaka Hotel is a phenomenon because although its all quite old and not...

Stayed overnight in this hotel. Too expensive for their shabby facilities and unkempt environment. It's a pity as this property is just by the sea the management seems to lose interest in keeping it in good shape. Worst, 5,000 pesos is too much in exchange for a smelly room and dilapidated interiors.

It's so sad to see a place with so much a potential can be such a mess! Being one of two hotels with a pool in town and the only seaside hotel in the city proper this place could be the pride of the city! Sadly it was such a disappointment that we checked out the same day! The rooms...

Room wasn't in my name but they didn't ask for my ID. Check-in was quick. Staff who assisted me to my room wasn't wearing his uniform. Standard room We first stayed at standard room at the old building. Building smells moldy. Hotel still uses key with a big keychain. Light sources are the 4 lamps inside the room and the...

Our three-night stay at Lantaka Hotel By the Sea was memorable and wonderful due to the fact that it brought my mom, my aunt and uncle plus my cousins altogether coz we bonded, shared food, stories and laughter. The hotel staff are friendly and professional. I had a great time swimming alone and we attended my cousin's daughter's engagement party...

The bad side: the rooms are run down and badly need rennovation. The beds and mattresses no longer feel fresh and crisp. The room is stuffy but spacious. The comfort room works but not a hotel level of convenience. The water closet doesn't have good water flow. The bath tub squeaks and you feel like it's going to crack any...

The hotel is old. But the view is quite good, but not majestic. You get to see sea (lol) the foods being served is good. The café is okay although the coffee is a bit far from those high end coffee shops in manila (so if you're from manila, don't expect it to be just like the coffee shop in...

The hotel looks like it has not had an upgrade or renovation since the 1980s. Everything is old, but not yet run down. You can see that it was a very elegant place to stay years ago. The pool is very clean. The hotel is walking distance from Fort Pilar, Paseo del Mar (nightlife, tourism office and boarding the boat...

This is a qiant and charming little hotel... granted it's a little older... however for this patron it was a endearing factor.... the service and staff was top notch... I have fond memories of this beautiful place and the grounds which were well cared for... if your not hyper concerned for the newest and most up-to-date hotel, I think you...
