We have stayed two more nights for our business trip to May Myo. Room is little large in a twin room. Shower was fine everything. Breakfast is pretty nice with local foods. One more needed is only milk. Overall one of the good place to stay in town with basic standard.

Rooms are spacious. Staffs are friendly. Nothing much to complain about but breakfast is a bit weird which is served to every guest for free. So, not a problem at all. Anyway, sticky rice in that breakfast is exceptional.

We had a suite, which was a standard room with the addition a very large curved lounge area. It was very spacious and comfortable. Windows could have been cleaner for the room to have been more attractive taking advantage of the window. Good bathroom. Centrally located. Room service was available for a reasonable price and included cocktails. Service by the front manager was particularly good. Breakfast area light and spacious, moderate offerings, excellent Mohinga soup. Need a car to get to the Botanic Gardens

We flew into Mandalay from Yangon and took a car straight to the hotel. We arrived quite early and although having booked a suite room only got one with twin beds. I didn't say anything at the time and then maybe 3 hours later after we had a walk around town we got a call to our room saying they were going to move us and we were moved to a suite room with a double and single bed and a large seating area also with a big balcony. These are at one end of the property with the curved windows in the hotel picture. Breakfasts were good with a decent selection. Rooms were clean and well kept. Ask to speak with Bruno one of the Managers as his English is good and he helped us out with some attractions to visit. One word of caution which I think was not clear enough on the Booking.com website is that the hotel does NOT take credit cards - only cash which ate into out USD reserves a bit. It does state it on there but it is right at the bottom of the page.

Booked it based on trip advisor excellent reviews. Just a local hotel - nothing fancy. Bedding is clean and nice. Water pressure was low; but appreciate the availability of hot water. The room has some bathroom smell and found some broken glass shatters on the carpet. Breakfast was average. Location was decent - it's located in central part of the town but it's not on main road. You need to walk a dark local road to get to the main road.
