After blowing through New Church, VA on Route 13 for over 20 years, my wife and I decided to finally spend some time exploring the Northern Eastern Shore with day trips to Chincoteague and Assateague Islands. We found Garden and Sea B&B to be the perfect place to relax, unwind, and serve as a base for our daily travels. While...

My family rented two rooms, one for my wife and I and one for our kids. We really enjoyed the stay - the rooms were finished beautifully and the food was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. No complaints! The drive to Chincoteaugue was very short, about ten minutes. We are very glad that we stayed there.

My daughter and I stayed here for Pony Penning on Chincoteaque and spent three nights. We stayed in the Nelson Room, which was large and roomy, and the bed was comfy. Everything is immaculate. Dorothee and Robin were so personable...it was like staying with friends. The breakfast is AMAZING! Dorothee is a fantastic chef and outdoes herself every morning. The...

We stayed two nights but would have been happy to stay longer were we not booked elsewhere the next day. We had the Chardonnay room in the main house. The property is heavenly. Very dog friendly. The pool was a fantastically relief from the heat on our second day. One gem was the garden house, which had communal parlor, dinning...

My girlfriend and I spent the Fourth of July weekend there; we had the Attic room, which is on the third floor of the main house. (There are 3 houses.) The rooms on lower floors, however, are better equipped and furnished. The owners and staff are a delight and offered suggestions on what to do when the weather took a...

Enjoyable stay in the nicely furnished sandpiper room despite that there is no thermostat in the room to regulate temperature. The bath ropes were a nice touch :) The main house could use exterior repairs, it doesn't negatively impact the quality of the stay. The garden is peaceful and relaxing, staff and owners very accommodating. I would definitely stay here...

I needed a place to stay close to Wallops Island for just one night. I am so happy I found this place. The grounds are beautiful, the room was impeccably furnished, the service was personal and friendly. Extra touches like cookies and tea available for guests in the sitting room just really showed how much care went into the place....

We had a wonderful time here. It is our second time back with 2 kids and our 2 dogs! (For return guests they allow kids younger than 8). We returned because It is a very pet friendly B&B and the breakfasts are very delicious! They provide beach towels for the dogs. We also enjoyed the pet friendly beach, hiking trails,...

This was my first bed and breakfast experience and it was very good! Dorothee and her team made me feel very welcome. I came to visit during 4th of July weekend. Although the house was pretty much full, I still received great service. The breakfast is served hot, delicious and fresh. Dorothee and her staff are very knowledgeable about the...

My husband and I recently spent 5 days at the Garden and Sea Inn while visiting Chincoteague and the Eastern Shore. It’s the perfect place to retreat to after busy days at the beach and visiting the quaint small towns of the Shore. The Inn is a short 15 minute drive to the Chincoteague and the beach. The main house...
