We stopped here for morning tea/coffee during our Morocco tour, and found it to be a nice oasis of rest. Service was good, and the surroundings were comfortable. Recommended for a travel break. Clean toilets as well, which is always a bonus.

After a long time away from Midelt, I came back to visit that monument we used to run next to when we were kids. Hotel El ayachi has been partially renovated, there is a new managing team. The food was good. My room had a wonderful view of the mountain. There is WI-FI but they could do better than the... More

Because I always do this and read reviews compulsively I'd forgotten how ripped off you can be if you are unprepared! Our plans changed unexpectedly due to a car hire issue and we ended up having to spend an unscheduled... More

I had been looking forward to a really nice hot shower at this hotel (the interior of which looked as if it was still in the grand tradition of the French colonial period) after having spent a cold day outdoors. First of all the (antique) radiators didn't work at all, so the reception hall was quite cold. There was an... More

I stayed here 2 nights in June 2008 with a group. The first night I got a terrible room. It was the perfect decor for a horrormovie. I was really scared, couldn't get sleep and went down to tell the guide I could not sleep in that room. She went to the reception and asked a nice room. So I... More

With a 1950s style, smokey cold rooms, and unclean tables - the fact that the waiters wear dinner jackets is not enough to make it worth a stay. the food, which once won a gastronomic award has taken a turn for the worse. Stay away!
