We stayed in the hotel with friends at the end of May 2017. This old graceful inn made it feel more like visiting a friend's home down south. It was more than a bland hotel experience. The owners were very accommodating and helpful. The food is not to be missed. We will definitely go back. Laura

We stayed at the Inn for two nights. We stayed in the Mimosa Room which had an Asian theme. It also had a claw foot bathtub which was heaven to soak in after a long day of hiking. The owners were wonderful

My wife and I decided to do a little midweek "escape" as we had been doing major Spring cleaning around the house. I had received some information on the Mark Addy and we decided to stay a couple of days at this B&B near Nellysford. Neither of us had ever stayed at a Bed & Breakfast so it was a...

Friendly staff and owners make you feel at home. Large historic building is beautifully decorated inside and very nicely landscaped outside. Delicious varied gourmet breakfasts in sunroom at 9 AM - enjoyable place to talk to other guests. Generous guest use of kitchen provided, along with free cookies and fruit and sangria. We greatly enjoyed our stay in Monet themed...

We stayed at the Mark Addy for a get away. Extremely clean, pleasant and so relaxing. I highly recommend to anyone. The owners treated us a part of the family and we felt very welcome. Would certainly go back. David and Teresa Norcross

We arrived late on a Friday night so we couldn't really tell what a beautiful view it had until we woke up the next morning. The view from our room (at the back of the Inn) was gorgeous as was the view from the front. Our breakfast was exquisite... eggs Benedict with fruit parfait with a home made yogurt and...

Want to pay high prices for a wedding weekend like a winter-survival game? The Mark Addy fits the bill. I enjoyed the beautiful vistas as I was first to arrive, anticipating a great weekend of my daughter's wedding and once-a-year family reunion at this quaint, historic Inn. Then I got out of my van. I am handicapped and use a...

Leslie T, Owner at The Mark Addy, responded to this review

This is a very difficult review to respond to without sounding angry or defensive, so I will not address each of her complaints. Suffice it to say that this woman, who was given a discount, did “sick” the county on us and after timely inspections, we were found to have absolutely no violations from the health department or planning and...

We spent 2 nights at the Mark Addy this past November for a quick getaway. The inn is charming and surrounded by lovely grounds and beautiful mountains. The colonel room was elegantly appointed and had a nice balcony porch. Breakfast was quite good but Rafael, the cook/innkeeper seemed a bit annoyed with my dietary restrictions. Besides breakfast, the inn keepers...

Leslie and Rafael took care of us from the moment our reservations were made until we checked out! Every last detail worked out perfectly. The breakfasts were phenomenal and abundant! Service was thoughtful and timely without being overbearing. It really felt as if we were visiting family. We stayed in the Schloss room and it was amazingly quiet (except for...

We (a couple) stayed 2 nights at the Mark Addy. The room was spacious, the inn is charming, the 3-course breakfasts were delicious, and Leslie was a gracious hostess. The area around Nellysford is beautiful, with hiking trails and waterfalls aplenty.
