We had the most wonderful stay at this very charming and accommodating Bed & Breakfast. From the time we got there we were greeted by Mr. Bob who was very helpful and assured us that anything we needed just stop by and ask. He guided us to two very delicious restaurants that were top shelf and not a tourist trap...

The Widow Kip's is a large property with many personal touches that lend elegance. The breakfasts were delicious, though not as much food as we were expecting. The owner was friendly and helpful. They have a wonderful "Stay 2 nights, get the 3rd night free" special. Our only real concern was that the property is close to a highway, and...

My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Widow Kips Country Inn. The experience was all I hoped it would be. From the gracious check in, to the fabulous Belgium waffles, to being pampered by the inn keepers. Virginia is for lovers was an apt description of our great stay at The Widow Kips Country Inn.

Bob was a great host. Greeted us as we arrived, called a restaurant and asked them to stay open for us, made sure what our plans were and gave useful advice. Breakfast every morning was a real treat, and we had a different dish every day! We recommend Bob's hospitality to everyone. Thanks Bob!

We stayed at Widow's Kip because of location and it was a delightful find. Clean, comfortable, nice breakfast, reasonable rate right off the highway. Everything you want in a B & B. We will stay there again if we are ever passing through VA.

Inn keepers were pleasant but our cottage was musty and dusty. Bathroom was really dirty and the towels were so moldy smelling that they made my stomach turn. Just not the type of upkeep that you'd expect for the steep price tag. Breakfast sausage also tasted like it had turned. Suggest owners hire a professional cleaning crew and buy new...

A clean and comfy stay await you at this lovely early 19th century home in a beautiful setting. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and very helpful with local info. Each room was decorated with lovely country antiques, a feast for the eyes. Delicious Breakfasts were served in the formal dining every morning.

A friend and I rented the Silk Purse cottage for two nights and couldn't be happier with everything. Owners Bob and Betty are friendly, accommodating hosts. The cottage was cozy and immaculate, the grounds are beautiful and serene, and the breakfasts are to die for! I'd go back again just for the breakfast. In fact, I will definitely be returning,...

Nestled on a country lane just off I-81, the Widow Kip's is a great place to stay if you are visiting the Shenanadoah Valley. Betty and Bob are warm and welcoming hosts, and their beautifully-decorated Victorian home provides an excellent selection of guest rooms. Breakfast was delicious and the presentation was especially nice....we will definitely return when in the area.

Sweet place with lovely and gentle innkeepers that allow you peace and quiet. Grandma rooms with charming old fashioned quilts and impeccably clean beds and bath. If you need a high tech wifi savvy kinetic place with lots of noise, don't go. If you can detach, appreciate nature and gracious folks with a lovely home, book now. Betty and Bob...
