This was a quick get-a-way.... It started with a near by tour to a winery. We decided to eat dinner at the Inn and it was a fantastic dinner. Our room was larger than expected for a country inn, and beautifully decorated. A wonderful get a way!

We recently had Sunday brunch here when visiting friends in Washington DC. It is very reminiscent of a traditional English pub. There is a great range of beer available and an excellent menu. Not to be missed if you are in the area.

Thank you for joining us in our tavern! We certainly look very similar to a traditional English style pub, and we hope when you walked in our doors that it transported you to another place— another time period even. We have done our best through the years to preserve our history by keeping our building authentic and original. We are...

A very historic experience! It feels like you stepped back in time. Very clean and quiet rooms, and good sizes for such an old inn. Wonderful location in the heart of town. Very charming restaurant and tavern feel.

Our kids were not able to be home for the holiday so instead of being home just the two of us... we opted for a romantic get-away with a fabulous dinner and romantic setting at the Red Fox Inn. The food, service, and everything was perfect as always!

Such a unique and intimate place to stay. The hospitality is amazing, the food was great and it really let us unwind. We love this place - 2nd time staying here. We would recommend anyone we know to this place, but not really a place for kids.

This building dates from 1728, so it's about as historic as you can get. The rooms are beautifully appointed with antiques and named for famous people. Morning coffee at your door, a delicious and hearty breakfast, specialty toiletries and the use of a wonderful microfiber robe (they sell packaged ones for guests who really like them), cookies, and bottled water...

After selecting the Red Fox Inn for an overnight stay with my daughters, I quickly realized that I had made a mistake. The first sign of this misjudgement in booking was quite obvious when we overheard the check-in associates manner of speaking with those ahead of us. Abrupt & Discouteous was the culture and the tone at "check-in". When we...
