Seatoller was amazing! The hosts were super nice and helpful and the complimentary coffee, tea, and hot coco bar was much appreciated. The food was excellent and the bathrooms were nicely updated. The bedrooms were spacious with lots of sleeping and storage space. Overall amazing and peaceful stay would definitely recommend to anyone coming up to the Lake District.

We were met by the son of the owner, who was very nice. Rooms felt damp and smelled musty. Breakfast was good. Packed lunch was minimal. We had to take a bus to find dinner but the owner did offer to pick us up afterwards, which we gratefully accepted.

Stayed here for one night at the weekend. It's quite far out but a stunning location. There is literally no phone signal so it was fantastic to totally get away from it all. Close enough to Keswick to get a bus or taxi in. The rooms were clean and the bed was really comfy and breakfast was nice too

We stayed here for 2 nights. Old farm that was so scenic and wonderful. Christine is a lovely hostess. Bed was comfortable, food was great. Fun watching them work with the sheep. I definitely recommend it!

We phoned up to see if we could get four nights' B&B in June but there were no vacancies. However, Christine offered us the cottage which wasn't being rented that week. When we explained that our tiny car didn't have room for all the stuff you need for self-catering, she said she would provided bedlinen etc - and if we...

We absolutely LOVE this place and our hostess (and friend) Christine. Being tucked away in the gorgeous Borrowdale Valley makes access a little bit of an issue, but the peacefulness makes it well worth the drive. I love the big twin room in this old (but well-maintained) farmhouse, the great breakfasts, visits with Christine, and walking up the farm road...

Camped for two nights. Site was great, stream for the kids... midgies out in force so take sprays ect. Basic toilets, two washing up sinks but cold water only... get what you pay for and £7 an adult is a great price for the location as really breath taking scenery. A few rowdy campers, but they seemed to stay up...

The setting is stunning, in a little hamlet surrounded by mountains. We came without a car and it was easy, the bus from Keswick runs to the door and it's a beautiful journey (open-topped in season) and there's a walk up Scafell Pike from the door. Pubs also within walking distance (approx 1 mile). The room is homely and comfortable,...

Yes , what a beautiful farm b & b and a wonderful hostess, Christine. We are from Orlando ,Florida and just loved the setting and beauty of the area and the comfort we had at the house. A welcome sight after our walk from Ennerdale. Welcomed by tea and cake and a smile. I was surprised that we were thanked for removing our boots, I thought everyone removed dirty boots when they enter someone else's house but according to our host that is not the case. We were offered a lift back from the pub as there...
