My husband and I stayed here and we had an outstanding experience! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and had an awesome view of a small lake that surrounds the buildings. We also had fridge, microwave and coffee maker in our room. The rates were reasonable and very competitive to area Inns. We look...

The owner/hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and fitted with the basics. I would book again. Just off the parkway and easy to get to. Parkway signs are hard to read. Easy and short drive to Chateau Morrisette.

We loved this place and are already planning a return trip for the spring! The room was exceptionally clean (I'm a stickler for hotel cleanliness), the heat worked great (we were there in late November), the owners and staff were wonderful, and the location is just unbeatable (less than one minute drive to the parkway)! We took our bikes and...

This place is very convenient if you are coming up the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is not much around Meadows of Dan. We were glad to be able to book this. The inn itself is pretty basic. the room was ok, but the heat didn't work very well. It is really a motel but very well maintained. The bar and...

We chose the Woodberry based on its location and its positive reviews, and we were very happy with our experience. The hotel is older and shows some wear, but it's obvious that the owners and staff care deeply, so while our room was pretty basic as amenities go (no in-room coffee maker, for example), it was clean and fresh-smelling, and...

We were so glad that we chose Woodberry Inn. It was so quiet and peaceful. We felt like we were the only ones there. We so wished that we had come earlier in the day to have dinner also. The dining area was so cozy the next morning for breakfast. We would definitely choose Woodberry again, and we will recommend...

But not easy to find if you go that way, because there are no signs on the BRP and the street sign is TINY and vertical and not 'in your face'. You REALLY have to look for it, but it's worth it. The other way is to exit at Meadows of Dan and wend your way around. Host Shep Nance...

The Woodberry Inn is only about forty miles from our home. But it felt like a thousand miles away from the kids and the dogs. Cozy rooms and so quiet. There are two great wineries about five minutes away. Dinner was delicious with a great bar. If you want to get away from everything along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this...

Great little place to stay. The staff and owners are great friendly people. The food was great and service was top shelf. If someone else hadn't of recommended this place we would have miss out on a great experience on the Blue Ridge parkway. I would recommend a stay here for the food and hospitality!

Beautiful hotel. Lovely view of the lake and changing leaves. Breakfast was delicious with a wonderful variety of fresh foods. Innkeepers were so very sweet and helpful. Wineries and cider mill located close by. Right by the BRP with loads of wildlife to see. You will not be disappointed!!!
