Nice B&B, great breakfast, and clean room, Stayed in the Gold Room. Very clean, bed firm and pillows very similar to if not downe. Would stay again. Innkeepers were there upon arrival to give us a tour of the house.

Excellent B and B. Great history. Almost a museum. Accommodations excellent. Both bedrooms exceptionally comfortable and with historical feeling. Innkeeper Hannah excellent hostess. Gave us tour of the facility. Breakfast not fancy but met dietary restrictions adequate amount of food. Very tasty. Surrounding area very attractive. Price excellent.

If there was a 6-star rating I would give it to this beautiful, historic, bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Bridal room, arrived to a warm greeting from the innkeeper. Room was clean, full of antiquities, the most comfortable bed linens I have ever slept on. We explored the Inn, and all of the artifacts located in the basement.... More

This B&B is operated by a friendly couple and the breakfast is to die for. The rooms are so historic and the place offers a snapshot of history without being pretentious or "off-limits" to the little ones. Breakfast was french toast with homemade berry syrup and fruit. Coffee is available for early risers and the wi-fi connection is fine. Loved... More

This B&B is truly special. It is literally a museum, showing the long family history. The rooms take you back in time, and still offer any and all comfort one might wish for. Also, it is a quiet place embedded in a picturous landscape. The B&B is currently run by a nice young couple. The breakfast was as well very... More

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay! The surrounding scenery was beautiful (despite the fire at Shenandoah National Park that was straight off in the distance) and the peace and quiet was much needed. The dairy calves were very curious too! We stayed in Uncle Charlie's room and loved it! Great view out the front, quiet room and... More

We stayed overnight at Cave Hill Farm on our way to Monticello in Charlottesville. The early 1880s home is charming and beautifully set in the Virginia countryside an easy distance from Harrisonburg. Our room was decorated with antiques and pictures from the family's history with a very comfortable bed and spacious modern bathroom. The entire house is a step back... More

My husband & I were looking for a convenient location for an overnight stay & were delighted to have stumbled upon a jewel. What a wonderful & comfortable place. The history was fascinating. You must check out the museum in the basement. Breakfast was fabulous. An unexpected enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed our one night stay here over a long weekend. House is quite charming and has a very cool little museum in the basement with some interesting artifacts. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very nice as well. Don't come to watch TV as our room TV was about 13inches. Innkeepers were very nice and breakfast was... More

A wonderful house with amazing things to explore. Set in a stunning, peaceful place. However I nearly twisted my ankle on the path that led from the parking area to the front door as it was covered in rotting apples. I ended up kicking them all aside so no-one else would do the same. There was also some coins left... More
