Four ladies traveling together - we enjoyed the hotel stay. The only drawback in the room was the closet door. It wouldn't open far enough for one person to even reach in to get the ironing board. A different kind of closet door would make much more sense!
My room was very large and very clean. My only complaint would be the television had issues. Our family had three rooms, and we were made to feel very comfortable. I loved my room. Breakfast was good. Even as busy as they were, the lady kept the food bar clean and filled. …
On our way to Murrells Inlet, SC we were traveling through Martinsville, VA. This Hampton Inn was close to the route we were taking and also allowed dogs. We did not have high expectations and accepted the fact the room may smell a bit "dogie". The hotel in general was spotless.…

Overall my stay was good. Welcoming staff, very clean room, pretty good continental breakfast, gym was clean and everything in working order. There were a few decent restaurants nearby. Price just felt a little high for the area, but other than that, it was a great stay!
"The hotel is located off street so, it is always pretty quiet. King Suite is always a good choice."
"I always prefer a room on the top floor and away from the elevator and ice machine but otherwise, very quiet."
"Ask for a room near the side entrance. Parking is closer and entry is not being blocked by construction."
"any floor would be a good choice, the hotel was quiet when we stayed (a Tuesday night)"
"Ask for a back facing room to avoid street lights."
