I traveled to Martinsville for Business. Though this was the hotel picked by the company - I wouldn't have had it any other way! Truly great service, beds, breakfast - and of course fitness center. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
On our way to Murrells Inlet, SC we were traveling through Martinsville, VA. This Hampton Inn was close to the route we were taking and also allowed dogs. We did not have high expectations and accepted the fact the room may smell a bit "dogie". The hotel in general was spotless.…
This hotel is a gem! Well run, clean and welcoming! Every thing is attended to -- from clean rooms, welcoming staff, and a great breakfast! Great location! The beds are comfy, wi-fi is easily accessible. WONDERFUL staff!
The staff- Robin and Jennifer and manager, Deborah are all wonderful . They make this a warm and friendly home away from home. The rooms are clean and spacious, foods at breakfast are of a variety, and hot cookies in the afternoon. A great stay.
Four ladies traveling together - we enjoyed the hotel stay. The only drawback in the room was the closet door. It wouldn't open far enough for one person to even reach in to get the ironing board. A different kind of closet door would make much more sense!
"The hotel is located off street so, it is always pretty quiet. King Suite is always a good choice."
"I always prefer a room on the top floor and away from the elevator and ice machine but otherwise, very quiet."
"Ask for a room near the side entrance. Parking is closer and entry is not being blocked by construction."
"any floor would be a good choice, the hotel was quiet when we stayed (a Tuesday night)"
"Ask for a back facing room to avoid street lights."
