My room was dirty, hair in the bath tub, cheap pillows that smell of b.o., sheets are dingy, strong smell of a place that gets a quick "once over", rather than good housekeeping. I checked out early and they would not refund the next night. Bar is dirty, dining room is dirty, patio is dirty.......if this is what you like,...

We went to a well-regarded online booking site to get a room at the Leesburg Colonia Inn B&B in Leesburg,Virginia. Even though we had a booking confirmation number, the queen room we had reserved wasn't available. They did have a double room available, so we took it. Big mistake! The room was tiny, they didn't offer any amenities (shampoo, hair...

Went with a friend, not knowing what to expect, but we went with an open mind.... If you are looking for the lap if luxury you might be disappointed. We liked the place and would stay again. The staff was so friendly! You can hear music from the bar and hallway traffic, which we really didn't mind. You can walk...

We stayed 2 nights in October and had an absolute blast! Staff was so friendly! Stayed in room #9, and loved it! The ham and Brie sandwich was great, and we loved the blues band on Saturday night! Great breakfast both mornings from the menu, and cold beer each evening! We walked all over town both days, and with the...

I tried to stay here recently and found men's pajama pants in the room, there was loud music playing from the bar downstairs until 2am and the staff was not friendly. Leesburg is a cute town, but we did not even make it through the night before we left in the early hours of the morning to get some peace...

Stayed one nite by myself while pedaling the C & O Canal from DC to Pittsburgh. I read previous reviews about long waits for bike shuttle from Whites Ferry and decided to pedal to town, an easy (4.5 mile) relatively flat road with wide berm. Was met by the owner who offered a towel and hose to clean my bike....

The TrailBook ad for the C&O Canal and GAP passage claims "Fine Dining & Lodging, 10 Elegant Rooms, 10 Minutes from the C&O Canal... Complimentary Pick-up from White's Ferry". None of that turned out to be true. The dining was a basic café with ordinary menu. The rooms were shabby with water stained walls from the leaky roof, broken furniture,...

There's a review that says "if you don't check in before 10pm you can't check in". That's not true. I called several time concerned that I wouldn't be able to check in and the staff was more than pleasant in reassuring me that I didn't need to worry. There are 2 establishments attached to the Inn that give you the...

Leesburg Inn, located right in the middle of historic Leesburg ,is a part of American history. This building has been around since the 18th century. Rooms on the 2nd. floor are all small, but fine. Remember this building has been here for centuries. All have a colonial theme, period decorated and are clean and comfortable. Baths are dated, but really...
