Stopped there on a Saturday after shopping near by. While not crowded, it was clear the locals like this place. We were seated promptly and politely. The owner, Tom, stepped over almost as soon as we were seated to welcome us and make sure all was well. Pub food is pub food, so the question is - good pub food?...

The Colonial Inn is a historic B & B – ten rooms are tastefully decorated with quilts, antiques and a little throw back to times gone by. Four of us stayed here for one night while riding our bikes on the C & O Canal Towpath. I ‘m not sure you could ride your bike here – too much traffic...

We stayed at here for a family wedding this last spring. . . but were moderately disappointed. The cost was low and the location was right downtown, perfect for us since several event locations were within easy walking distance. The staff was friendly and breakfast (served in the adjoining cafe) was fresh and tasty basic American eggs and omelettes. However,...

Thank you for the feedback and we are glad you found us within walking distance of many downtown attractions, and enjoyed our breakfast. You are right that our rooms are not large, but most of our guests are simply looking for a good night's rest. We get a good bit of positive feedback about our antique furnishings, but some would...

Stayed while pedaling from Pittsburgh to DC. Shuttle service from Whites ferry! Great Breakfast. The owner was super accommodating, storing our bikes in the cellar. Had an incredible meal rt next door.

I stayed at this inn while on a bike trip from dc into Maryland. The owner was super accommodating, storing my bike in the wine cellar. Charming, clean little rooms in a great location in the center of the historical district. Plenty of restaurants, breweries, etc. great stay.

If you want a change from Chain Hotels and you are on your way to or from Dulles Airport, this is the place to stay. We stayed in the Lafayette Suite. Very good. We loved the beds and the heavy furniture. It is clean. It has space. The linen on the bed is charming with a lacy edge. No, it...

I should have listened to those saying "set your expectations very low" - I decided that the location and the reservation I had at a restaurant down the street would make the Leesburg Colonial Inn the best choice... We wanted to eat, drink, and walk back to our Inn just down the block. So far so good I guess, until...

This was an unfortunate situation in which we had guests that were very loud and not respectful of our other guests. The owner repeatedly asked that they quiet down and spoke to them - when they did not comply, they were directed to leave in the middle of night and they did so. Our morning staff were not on duty...

Been there, ticked it off. I think this one can be discarded. Very tired property, with no hospitality that I saw. This place needs to half the price to be of any value, and then just a night if you have to! I guess being on the main street in Leesberg is the redeeming feature.... is it possible the air...

Six members of my family stayed in 4 rooms and they all loved it. Both my brother and sister said they had the best sleep they've had in years and could not say enough about how comfortable the beds were. Everyone thought the hotel was exactly what a historic hotel should be and more. The owner greeted all of us,...
