A return visit was long overdue and we certainly weren't disappointed. Bodegroes is still very special for many reasons, lovely comfortable rooms, excellent bathroom, beautiful gardens, delicious food, exceptional service and happy memories. Dinner on both evenings was faultless and the breakfast was also excellent and served by the chirpiest ladies you could ask for! We hope to return soon.

We visited here for just one evening (on a Friday night in February). Our room was fine and the bathroom excellent - very good shower. WiFi in our room (9) was a bit flaky as the booster access point for our floor was not working properly. The dinner was excellent; couldn't fault it. We both had different items and were...

This hotel was simply stunning. A 35 year absence from the area and a location required for Abersoch the facilities here were 5 star. Lovely staff, stunning food both at breakfast and in the restaurant and ideally located 10 minutes from one of my lifetime favourite beaches. Beautiful room with separate sitting area and a totally relaxed feel. I would...

We were looking for somewhere near Pwllheli to stay for two nights and stumbled across Plas Bodegroes and we are very glad we did. The hotel was amazing and the food was a very pleasant surprise. Breakfast's were delicious and generous and the staff were lovely. We hope we will be back again soon!

We booked a Xmas break to escape the madding crowds and we were not disappointed at all. Our Garden facing luxury room was wonderful and the bathroom large and well equipped. We were welcomed straight away by the staff (Hollie) and made to feel special as we sat by the open fire and enjoyed some lovely champagne and eats. The...

Just returned home after one of the best meals we have ever eaten. Cannot fault anything we were given. The woodcock starter was just perfectly cooked and the hake main equally so. The wine as always of the highest order. Plas Bodegroes at its best and the company wasn't bad either! That's our Christmas sorted! Diolch Chris and Gunna

What a delight! We stayed here overnight with friends. A warm welcome from the staff. Our room was well prepared, we have fresh milk, ground coffee and home made biscuits. Dinner was delicious and exceptional value. But best of all was breakfast, we were served by lovely ladies who couldn't do enough for us. This hotel is a gem.

Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights in August,we stayed in a junior suite and was on half board basis. The hotel setting is very relaxing, quiet and tranquil . The room was ok , I have stayed in better, the bed creaked constantly each time you turned over and the shower had a gap at the bottom that...

Thank you for your review. I see you stayed with us in August, since which time, as you see below, there have been changes. Also the bed in your room and shower were fixed in September, when other guests pointed out directly to us the issues you mention 3 months after your stay.... if you had told us about the...

We were looking forward to our third visit to Plas Bodegroes as it is a couple of years since we were last here. We arrive to be greeted in a somewhat casual and rather amateurish manner. Our Junior Suite was fine in many ways, if in need of a little tlc and more care with the details, also noisy as...

Make no mistake, Plas Bodegroes is a beautiful setting as you slowly roll up the narrow drive flanked by sheep grazing in trip adviser green fields your expectations can only be raised if they are not already pretty high from the price. A lovely welcome from friendly staff made us feel right at home and the walk through the covered...

Thank you for your review - I note that you stayed in August. We replaced our management staff at the beginning of September and we hope that, as the two reviews below testify, we have made improvements! Amongst other things we now serve back bacon again, as we did for 30 years, as well as crispy streaky!
