Glen Gordon is idyllic. The view is spectacular, the food is incredible, and the service couldn't be better. it is a very peaceful and relaxing setting. There are a number of wineries nearby, and it is just a few minutes from Skyline Drive. It took us abut an hour and a half from DC.

Everyone was so genuinely friendly! We stayed in the Windsor Suite, which was lovely with a huge bathroom with tub and a window overlooking the horses. The entire property is picturesque, set back from the road with mountains views everywhere. The main house, where dinner and breakfast are served, is warm and inviting. The food is delicious, if a little...

We were the only guests and were treated like royalty. They gave us a room upgrade and from the moment we arrived made us feel welcome. The rooms are wonderful, the property beautiful and the food even better. Dinner and breakfast were both fabulous and so special.

Wonderful place with fabulous food. Dane outdid himself with a delicious 5 course meal. Truly a noteworthy chef that can rival the best in DC. A short drive from DC--the rooms are lovely, the Windsor suite is our favorite. Relaxation comes easy at this lovely manor. Since our last stay, several rooms have been added as well as a beautiful...

January 13th was the occasion of Chef Dayn Smith and staff hosting ‘The Library Wine Dinner’, with wines served from Dayn’s personal wine collection. The wine pairing dinner was magnificent, fully supported by an...
