Stoney Meadow Inn was the perfect place to stay with our family-ranging in age from 71 to 2 years old!!! It has everything for the whole family!! When we drove up we were greeted by Grizz, who is a wonderful canine welcoming committee!! She was so sweet with our 2 year old!! Miss Janet let us come with her to...

My wife and her sister recently stayed at Stoney Meadow Inn for a girl's get-away. This was her sister's first B&B experience and she was amazed! Janet & George are fantastic hosts. Their B&B is spotless and the property is beautiful. The twin suite is lovely. Janet & George made them feel right at home immediately. Janet served homemade pound...

This is an idyllic place. We exited the Blue Ridge Parkway, traveled 1/2 mile down a gravel road, and found ourselves at the Stoney Meadow Inn. Janet and her dog greeted us with a big Virginia smile, and then she fixed us a vegan snack of lentil stew, fresh bread, a veggie platter, and vegan slaw, all of which was...

From the bears on Kodiak Island, Alaska, to the goats on the Floyd, Virginia farm at Stoney Meadow Inn B&B. Beautiful woods, wonderful hosts, very knowledgable and helpful about visiting Virginia. Great breakfast, and cake at night! Great dog, too!

A small group of friends and I stopped at Stoney Meadow Inn B&B for a night while on a Blue Ridge cycling adventure, and it was everything we could have asked for. Janet is incredibly generous and beyond accommodating. We were welcomed with delicious treats, did laundry, roasted marshmallows on the back deck, slept very comfortably, then stuffed with a...

This is our second stay at this excellent B&B. Janet and George are the absolute best hosts you can find for a B&B. We feel like family whenever we visit. The home is spotless and comfortable and the guest area has its own screened in porch to enjoy the hummingbirds. The breakfast was fantastic with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuits,...

We chose Stoney Meadow Inn as one of our stops as we drove the Blue Ridge Parkway from north to south in June 2015. From the moment we made contact with Janet we knew we were on to a winner. She advised us about activities in the area and especially music night at the Floyd Country Store on Friday nights....

Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, we enjoyed 3 quiet and peaceful nights and wonderful breakfasts with Janet and George. Their hospitality is the best -- It was like being at home without any chores. We cannot recall seeing so many stars in the night sky since our last visit to Big Sky, MT.

We were warned by our hosts that this B&B is 12 miles from Floyd for restaurants, so we had our main meal at a great little place called "Gerties Country Grill (?)" on Rt 56 off the "Ridge", where we also picked up Italian sandwiches to go for our evening meal; and this worked out perfectly. As mentioned in the...
