We rented the hostel at Hikers Inn and it was perfect. Affordable, convenient, clean, comfortable, and between the double bed & 4 bunks, plenty of room for parents & kids. Paul was super friendly, too. Rode the creeper trail, then drove over the next day to Grayson Highlands State Park to see the wild ponies. We'll be back!

If you are looking for a chill comfortable place to stay in Damascus while biking along the VCT or hiking the AT, this is it. From the hostel house outside to a room inside you will feel right at home. Can not recommend enough!

I was with a hiking group that did sections of the AT. Lee and Paul, the owners of the inn, are the most hospitable people you can imagine. They make you feel like a guest in the their home, asking about you and remembering what you said. Lee let me use the ice from her own freezer for my water...

Great spot. Great people. We were so comfortable. They had "town clothes" for us to borrow, did our laundry and gave us a cozy, comfortable bed. A wonderful break from the trail. Thank you Lee & Paul!

We rented the hostel (out behind main house) for 1 night prior to a section hike on the A. T. The hostel was great for our family of 6 since there were 2 sets of bunkbeds for our 4 children and a separate bed for Mom and Dad. Lee and Paul are super friendly and helpful, and we were sad...

Went with a hiking group on a multi-day trip to Damascus. Looking for inexpensive lodging and came upon the Hiker's Inn. For 12 people for 2 nights, it was $58.00 each. Making the reservation was very easy. When I requested information about the Inn, they offered to help me with my itinerary and made some recommendations for places to see...

We were very happy with our stay for two nights in late April. We stayed in one of the nicely appointed rooms in the house. The rooms were clean but not fussy. Shared bath turned out to be no problem. Paul was responsive and interested in helping us with local suggestions. Coffee or tea is available, but they do not...

Stayed at Hiker's Inn the night before a section hike, midway through, and at the end of that hike. A beautiful and charming place run by two great people - really enjoyed my stay there (thanks so much!)

The Hikers Inn is a great respite for anyone traveling through. Our group stayed a couple nights as we explored the Virginia Creeper bike trail from Abington to White Top. Definitely as "to do" rail trail for those that love trails. Hikers has a bunk house as well as rooms. It is perfect for any group.

My friend and I had a change of plans on our AT section hike. After a night sleeping in another bare bones place, my buddy and I found a room with 2 twin beds at the Hiker's Inn. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The wifi was good enough that we could entertain ourselves once we were done at...
