Even before we arrived, Barbara made sure we got to the Inn ok with directions & someone to greet us. The Inn was lovely & inviting, the room was so clean & comfortable. We found no TV in the room, and enjoyed that fact. The coffee was the best, and breakfast was a delicious event. We were sorry we didn't...

For us a B&B is defined by it's owners/innkeepers and that is why we absolutely enjoyed our weekend at the Channel Bass Inn. Barbara and David go out of their way to make your trip as easygoing as possible. After showing us to the Wensleydale, a great stay on the third floor, Barbara promptly booked us a a table at...

We had a wonderful time over Labor Day weekend. There is a three day stay requirement over the holiday at the B&B. Upon checking in, Barbara greeted us with a smile and hug, which was sweet and disarming and started our vacation off on the right foot. It was our first time in Chincoteague (the island that has all the...

Thank you so much for your review. However, we would prefer future guests not to think that we serve the same eggs at each breakfast. We work hard to vary our food and to serve something different each morning ~ I don't think anyone has ever been bored with our food. We served blueberry pancakes and sausages for your first...

We visited this lovely inn back in April for our honeymoon. First of all I have to say that the owners are wonderful. Very kind, and always helpful. We stayed in the TopCliff room, which we loved and will probably stay in again when we go back to visit. Barbara is an excellent cook! And if you will be staying...

Absolutely the finest B&B we have ever stayed at!! The innkeepers, David & Barbara make you truly feel at home; breakfast & afternoon tea service are superb plus they do everything they can to help you during your visit from dinner recommendations & reservations, to helping with places to see. HEARTILY RECOMMEND!!

My husband, son (11 years old) and I just returned from a week at Chincoteague where we stayed at The Channel Bass Inn. It was a return visit for us although there had been 9 years in between. What a great place. You could not ask for nicer Innkeepers than Barbara and David! They take wonderful care of you. There...

Staying at the Channel Bass Inn was more like staying over at a friend's house, rather than a hotel. Barbara and David, the innkeepers, are extraordinarily friendly and hospitable. They do everything they can to make your stay with them unforgettably amazing. The food is delightful, the rooms beautiful and homey. I would not recommend staying at any other establishment...

We had a wonderful stay in this unique character quest house. Our hosts were gracious and generous with their time and the breakfasts were so filling we ended up on a two meal a day diet!!!! The rooms are all individually decorated with air con and the welcome is the warmest one could imagine. We were there for Pony penning...

We have stayed with Barbara and David many times and it has consistently been a wonderful experience all around. Everything from the hospitality, the food (the world-famous scones are to die for!, but it doesn't end there...), the location "downtown", to the convenience (they have bikes to take out and ample supply of beach equipment that we never have to...
