Overall a pleasant stay but the rooms could use some more thorough cleaning. There was sand all over the bathroom (not from us) and it smelled damp and musty. Got what we paid for, it wasn't overly priced. You can tell it's an older establishment that has been remodeled, very cheaply remodeled in many places, such as most of the...

You get what you pay for is the old adage, and the Chincoteague Inn is right on the mark. I wanted an inexpensive hotel that was clean and that's exactly was we got. There were a couple glitches while checking iin, which the staff quickly rectified so no complaints there. There is an area out back where you can cook...

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights for a wedding and we have mixed reactions to the Inn. The location is great. Close to Maddox St and a lot of restaurants and stores there, it made it easy to go places. We had a king size bed and the room was plenty big enough for us. I was...

Great location in the center of the island across the street from Captain Zacks seafood. Pool was clean and warm enough to swim early in the season. Wifi was great as both my wife and I were able to work while the kids swam in the pool. Short walk or bike ride to the ice cream parlor. Outdoor activities are...

I don't mind plain. If I am paying below the average rate for an area I don't expect a five star hotel. This hotel is in a good central location and it was very quiet at night. The desk clerk let us check in early, as soon as the room was ready. The room was nice, and surprisingly well appointed,...

I made reservations for the bottom floor and when I arrived they put me on the 3rd floor. Well, accordingto the office not bottom room available. Climb to 3rd floor had an asthma attach. The office staff was very rude. I told themit was not my fault someone screwed up my reservations. One girl even said we dont guarantee bottom...

The good: the room price, super cheap weeknight stay. King room, very large, super clean. Was a bit worried with the low price, but pleasantly surprised. No elevators, so if you're on the 3rd floor, you'll get a workout. Easy to walk to Island Creamery or other places. Very friendly check in and out. The bad: free WiFi was spotty...

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Everything was as expected for a budget motel. Location on the island seemed pretty good. It's a short distance from shops and restaraunts and an easy bike/drive to Assateague.

We have been to Chincoteague many times and recently have used it as a stopping point from our home in NC to visit our kids in New England. We found this listing , read the (mixed) reviews, and decided to try it, primarily because the price was very reasonable and others had expressed enjoying the "homey" feeling. It was really...

My wife and I visited this inn in shoulder season (April). Check-in was prompt and the staff were very friendly, giving us an excellent recommendation for dinner. However, our room was on the third floor, and there is no elevator. You have to climb a wooden stairwell with somewhat uneven steps to the third floor. The staff said that all...
