Stopped here as a base for visiting this region while Hurricane Matthew was in the neighborhood. Did not dampen our enjoyment. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was more than adequate with a choice of bagels, pastries and juices.

Was looking forward to a quite weekend, what we got was misery! Dealing with the affects of hurricane Matthew was the easy part. We checked into our room and should have immediately left but we were soaked from the rain and the wind was 40+ mph. Room had awful stench! Something between cigarette smoke, mold and mildew! After a long... More

I stayed here on a lovely September weekend. The hotel is small and old, but our room was clean, as was the property and pool. The manager was friendly and helpful. Location is great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend the hotel for the budget minded traveler.

My wife and I don't normally stay in motels when we visit Chincoteague, preferring to rent a house instead. However, taking advantage of a few days of good September weather we decided to try the Best Value Inn in Chincoteague. You could pay a lot more for a room on this island, but I doubt you would find a better... More

We stayed 2 nights at this property. I was very concerned after reading a review, with a warning about bed bugs, was posted after I had already paid (non refundable) for my stay. The owner, Raman, assured me that the review was unfounded and that the health department did not find any bugs, as warned in the review. He said... More

After reading the most recent reviews of this motel I was petrified to stay the night!HOWEVER, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised with our room. It did look exactly like the pictures room, the sheets were clean and smelled of bleach! We stayed in rm 115 and had no problems with shower, sink or toilet. Admittedly the floor could... More

We booked this hotel four nights, starting May 19. First morning of our stay, my husband woke to leg bites. By evening we both had arm and leg bites. Three days later, bites appeared on two of my fingers, above eyelid and ear lobe. May 27, our doctor confirmed we had Bed Bug bites. I notified Mr. Bhula, the hotel... More

Hello ViajeMujer, I apologize for your disappointment experienced during your stay at our hotel. I know you ended up staying only after you were unable to cancel your reservation at the last minute which must have also been disappointing. I also understand that you initially thought you had chigger bites due to your hiking and touring of the wildlife and... More

We have stayed in this hotel before, but this latest visit is terrible. It will be my last. - About 15 min in the hotel, I realized that the bathtub drain didn't work. I talked to Raman (the hotel manager), and had to argue with him to get him to "take a look" at the tub. Of course, he didn't... More

I take a large group of school children down to Wallops Island every spring, and use this motel to house our charter bus driver. Every year, I call in advance to make my reservation. The office staff remember me, and give me an extremely good rate year after year. This is great, because the students are paying for the bus... More

I like leaving a good review, and focusing on the positive. They are pet-friendly, and the staff were super friendly - good local people who were welcoming hosts, and it was inexpensive (though cheap doesn't necessarily mean "value" in my opinion). The housekeeping department, however, needs a shake up. The beds were clean and very comfortable, the bathroom was clean,... More
