B&B great location - quiet and peaceful but close to town centre and with parking. Rooms very glean and beds comfortable and excellent breakfasts. Hosts extremely charming, hospitable and helpful. Best B&B we've stayed at for a long time - couldn't have asked for a better start to our holiday. Also a good base to visit Monticello which is definitely...

The perfect B and B. Relaxed, spotless, comfortable and charming house. The perfect hosts and the best home cooked breakfast ever. Recommend without reservation. May 2017, we were travelling from England and loved our two night stay.

The facility itself was absolutely beautiful, the room immaculate, and the Lantermans were very accommodating without being invasive. It was just the right mix of privacy and attentiveness. The Leathers-Snyder is only a 5 minute walk from the downtown mall and trolley stops that will take you nearly anywhere you want to go in downtown C-ville. Breakfast was delicious. We...

Our two-night stay was our second at L-S and the good memories were re-enforced. We live in the SF Bay Area and get to the east coast infrequently, so when our trip routing allowed, we headed to Charlottesville. You can easily walk to campus and the downtown mall from the B&B. They offer a continental breakfast, but it is much...

We were lucky to rent the entire B&B for our Charlottesville wedding in early October. The house is amazing (especially the kitchen that everyone drooled over all weekend). Susan and the caretaker, Emily, were wonderful hosts and we were treated like royalty all weekend. Each room was gorgeous and extremely clean. The parlor was perfect for gathering to get ready...

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for a weekend in August. It was a charming, relaxing, quiet home with plenty of space. The decor was lovely and southern. We easily walked to restaurants and bars on the downtown mall and Main Street. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

We just returned from a 4-night stay at the Leathers-Snyder B & B in Charlottesville. Our primary purpose for going to the area was to see Monticello, which did not disappoint. The B & B was a great place to relax after spending the day wandering around Virginia. Also went to wineries, UVA, Staunton, and the Blue Ridge Pkwy. Susan...

Our first stay in a B&B and it did not disappoint. Our room was lovely and the hosts were warm and friendly! Very convenient to downtown. We visited Monticello, Jefferson Vineyards, and Ash Lawn-Highland while there. Would definitely recommend to others if traveling to the area!

Leathers-Snyder was so fantastic! The set up and accommodations were incredibly nice and that was only topped by Susan and Jeff and their hospitality and warm welcome. Breakfast each day was great and the location couldn't have been more perfect and close to downtown. It was so easy to walk around and get to places from the b&b. I'd highly...

My husband and I just had fantastic weekend in Charlottesville, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leathers-Snyder Inn. The Inn itself is beautiful -- much newer and nicer than I expected -- and Susan and Jeff were great hosts. They were available when needed, but not at all hovering, the way I always fear B&B owners will be. The location...
