The price can't be beat. We got a coffee maker. Everything else you'll need to provide. Be careful of your keys--but we had no problem. We liked the location--across the street from the local Arts Council. Next time there'll be a Wegmans within walking distance.. .

I will start by saying I do not think the manager Ashley is the problem. She was pleasant and really tried hard within the constraints of the corporate rules to work with us. SO. We frequently stay in corporate-type hotels/motels/short term apts because of some dietary constraints that make cooking for ourselves easier and safer than eating at unknown eateries....

I was excited to find a place for 2 nights on Labor Day weekend in the Charlottesville vicinity, that had a kitchen. The website looked good, so we booked. It states fully furnished kitchen. I've stayed numerous places, and that normally includes at least a coffee maker. But since there is a full kitchen (stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator), NORMALLY that...

The suite was clean but smelled of smoke. You aren't allowed to smoke in the rooms but the outside ashtrays are in front of the rooms and the smell comes inside. The pillows were horrible (bring your own if you can) and the fitted bottom sheet on the bed did not have deep enough pockets. The sheet would pull off...

We stayed here in Mid July as a person in our party was traveling for work. We have previously stayed here before when we utilized the hospital in Charlottesville. This time, the room was on second floor which got to be a bit hard with someone on crutches, but was fine. The thing I will say about this hotel is...

Clean and spartan, more of a dorm room than a motel. Kitchen, but no utensils, not even paper plates. Have to pay $12 extra for "kitchen package". No maid service, they even ask you to take out your own trash! Long list of "do nots". Office not open before 8:00 or after 6:00. No amenities whatsoever. Would not recommend to...

Affordable Suites is truth in advertising - clean, functional and cheap, relative to other Charlottesville properties, but just bare necessity simples - no silverware or bottle opener in room, as well as not the most proximate neighborhood to the University. Inexpensive, but might be worth more expense to walk or drive less. Closed offices on Sunday and evenings - seems...

Great location. Loved the price for the Charlottesville area. Suite, not just a room and bed. Has full kitchen but you need to bring or rent from them all equipment. Bring your own supplies, hair dryer ,bathroom cup, shampoo, utensils in the kitchen, etc. The price more than makes up for it. Staff very friendly but limited office hours ....

We were in the area visiting our son who is a Marine. Previously, we'd always stayed in a nice hotel chain, but we were always stepping over each other a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa doesn't provide much walk area. Here we had plenty of room in a spotless suite, off the highway, so it was quiet...

If Location, Great Sleep, Great Price, is the topic of your visit to Jeffersons' Monticello, Mitchie Tavern, Ashland-Highland then THIS is the place to stay, Miles, mere Miles, less than 3 miles to these Great Historic Landmarks. Quiet Location just off the highway, Secluded Neighborhood, Grocery Shopping walking distance ( around the corner is Food Lion ). Hardees, Taco Bell,...
