Nice friendly campground. Good people ,good times . A lot of renovations taking place while we were there. New bathrooms, New roads, pool decks. Great place for camping,kayaking fishing. We will be back in the last week of July.
Stayed for one week mid May 2017 for our granddaughter's wedding at Oyster Bay which was nearby. The staff from management to grounds/maintenance were fabulous, eager to please. In 51 years of camping there have only been a few that have impressed us like this....More
Love this place. Never a dull moment. From fishing to crabbing, swimming and putt putt golf. Great atmosphere. Safe and friendly. Food lion nearby. Cape Charles beach 5 minutes away. We've stayed in cabins and camper. Never disappointed 😄
Another great weekend. Love all the new improvements. Staff friendly like always.. redoing the pools and remodel of all bathrooms. Bait and tackle has been redone and looks great. All new grass has been planted we enjoyed everything..

Yes I believe it is. However, I would call the campsite to make sure they have spots available. I know the camper next to us, was coming back for weekend of Thanksgiving.

I'm thinking about visiting Cherrystone in late July and am curious about what there is to do around town, offsite. I know Virginia Beach is about an hour away, but is there anything else fun, i.e, attractions, restaurants, a boardwalk, towns, etc.?
