We stayed a night at the Viking Inn and felt we could have done better in Wilmington. There was nothing major wrong with the room, management, or property, but there was a series of small issues that made this the inn we enjoyed the least during our two-week trip to New England. Nothing was really dirty, but then again not...

The Viking is nicely situated in Wilmington, within waking distance to the few things the downtown has to offer (good restaurants, small stores.) There is a Shaw's supermarket across the highway within walking distance. The room was small but clean and everything worked. No pool, or frills, just a nice little room. The staff was friendly, and so were the...

We checked in after a long day of motorcycle riding, right as the sun was going down. Like other reviewers, we thought that the place looked charming on the outside and were thinking that this might be the only hotel for quite some time, so we decided to give it a chance. Immediately upon entering the room our noses could tell...

Nestled in the mountain woodlands of Vermont, this mom & pop property is definitely full of charm. After all, when was the last time you stayed at a hotel that still used check-in cards instead of a computer terminal and handed you a key to your room? Nearly destroyed by a flood in 2011, the owners have been working to...

We checked in on a Friday night and stayed until Sunday. I found it a little strange that they make you pay in advance but that's besides the point. We were on the lower level and our room had two full beds and a small bathroom. The room was very outdated and the beds were rock hard. While showering I...

My family has a home in Wilmington, VT, we go there often to ski/snowboard at Mt. Snow or Stratton. My sister and I drove up to CT late on Friday 12/4/15 so that we could get on to the slopes early on Saturday morning. Unfortunately we were locked out of our family's house and had to rent a room for...

Vermont is, well, Vermont. And the lodging choices are more limited relative to most of New England. There are few national chain hotel choices, rather you either get Bed & Breakfast / Inns, ski resort lodgings, or smaller older independently owned 50/60's styled motels typically one or two stories ( and yes, a motel is technically different from a hotel...

This is a little town near the mountains. It is older but Clean. Also was quiet and just on the outskirts of town. We walked to town for dinner one night. The owners were friendly & helpful with tourist info. The bed was comfortable. It was unusually warm for the time of year we were there & the window AC...

We are staying here for 2 nights. It's nice that it has a fridge in the room. Walls are thin. Can here people out side. No way to change the heat in the room. When we went to the desk to ask about it they told us to open the windows. Not enough outlets around the room to plug phones...
