My husband and I booked our stay here on Groupon and we were not disappointed. The Inn was lovely - our room had the most comfortable king bed and was very clean. All the staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious! Our only complaint would be that the Inns lounge and restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner during...

Cannot say enough about this beautiful Inn! The staff was extremely courteous and the property is beautiful and extremely clean. We stayed for 4 nights and got upgraded to a king suite because we were there for our honeymoon. Our room was perfect and we had the option of being cozy in the living room by the fireplace or in...

I spent two weekday nights At The White House and was delighted with all aspects of this charming, historical Inn with lovely views of the Wilmington valley below . The room, # 7, was spacious and warm, updated and tastefully done. Toiletries were plentiful, as were complimentary snacks and the little coffee maker in the room brewed the best room...

After changing rooms, due to a room with a loft bed, and bathroom downstairs, we could not get into the new room. The lock had special "tricks", which we did not know about. Staff was terrific during these minor adjustments. Food was huge disappointment, although it was deliciously described. Town is adorable, with several restaurants. However, most do not open...

We stayed at the White House Inn for three nights as part of a wedding at the Hermitage Club. The White House Inn is one of their properties we ended up staying here. We were in room 16, which has a queen bed and a balcony looking out towards the main road. The inn is roughly 100 years old, so...

We are only halfway through our trip - and I only tend to go to TripAdvisor for the very best or very bad. This time it's so good I had to write before even leaving - I have not had such a personal treatment since my wedding! Missy greeted us in arrival and made us feel immediately at home, while...

My husband and I stayed for two nights. The staff was one of the best parts of our stay. They were friendly and inviting. Our room was beautiful but one of the biggest issues was that they had not turned on the heat. The nights were down to 35-40 degrees. Our room was freezing at night. Our bathroom and shower...

Dear Diane, thank you very much for your feedback. We especially appreciate you commenting on our staff as they all work hard very to make our guests happy and it is nice for them to be appreciated. I am very sorry to hear you had problems with the heat in your room. Every room has the ability to control their...

We checked in on Friday night and was shown to our room which was a deluxe by a very sweet receptionist. We choose to eat at the bar which there was a nice and very professional bar tender. The food was standard fair.... The room was somewhat of a disappointment mainly because of design. The bathroom was so small....way too...

We very much appreciate the feedback provided and apologize for any disappointment with the bathroom. Having an historic building serve as an inn is always challenging, and whilst we were able to completely renovate the bathrooms installing modern tile and glass showers in the them, it is hard to increase the actual square footage. We like to think of them...

I stumbled upon this Inn while browsing on Groupon and although there were a few problems during our stay, I'm very pleased overall. Pros: -The rooms with balconies and patios have amazing views! Room 15 is situated in the back end of the inn so it offers a little bit more privacy and less noise coming from the road than...
