With a great location, AM ski lessons, and transportation to the lift at the front door, it would be hard not to enjoy the Mountaineer. Add three great meals daily, a helpful staff, and congenial participants; the experience can't be beat. The rooms are clean and basic, but the common areas are quite charming. The hot tub in the afternoon...

Been coming here for 8 years. . Senior all inclusive ski package(BYOB). Can't beat the price. Great food. Staff very eager to be sure you are happy. Hot tub feels so good after a long day of skiing. Don't care for the TVs that were added to the rooms this year. They take away from the old ski lodge feel.

The place is good for what it is - a low cost option close to Mt. Snow. Went there during Christmas weekend. The price was was attracted us to it. I've been to other low cost options near Mt. Snow, and I think the Mountaineer Inn is probably the better of most low prices options around. Yes - the place...

I was up doing some renovations to my home and needed a place to stay for the night. I called at 6pm and the clerk was very nice and said to come right over. Having owned a place near Mt Snow for over 10 years I have driven by many times and never gave it a thought. When I was...

Just came from a family reunion hosted by the Mountaineer. The place is clean and very comfortable. The food excellent. The common areas are plentiful. The owners made us feel at home. Our party included young children and all were catered to. Already booked for next year.

My fiancée and I had a nice time at the Mountaineer Inn. For $125/night, you can't beat it. Great location (with the Moover shuttle stopping at the front door) and an outstanding breakfast. Room was cozy, bed wasn't the most comfortable, and the Jacuzzi was out of service (no fault of the owner, it was an 11th hour malfunction). Would...

Booked the Mountaineer Inn last minute for a family ski weekend. The hosts were very friendly and easy going. The Inn is a very authentic; quaint old-style ski lodge including an awesome full hot breakfast. We had a clean and simple room. The common areas were comfortable and made us feel right at home. Easy access to Mount Snow and...

I stayed here for the carinthia open, the rooms are small, but fine, its hotter than the sahel desert. I am extremely dissapointed that they refused to open the hot tub or put chemicals in it. I stole all their mints and plan on shitting on the balcony.

I've been visiting this place since mid-90s. They've done a very good job maintaining the place. Rooms are clean, and have enough space to negotiate your snow clothes / gear. Coffee is excellent. Fireplace downstairs is huge. Real maple syrup for breakfast(!), fresh-baked muffins.
