We stayed for 2 days midweek in May, and everything about our stay was perfect. The inn itself is beautiful and very tastefully decorated, and has lovely gardens and outdoor seating. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view. Our dinner the first night was so good that we had dinner there again the next night. Breakfasts were...

We stayed at the Hermitage Inn from Friday, March 30 - Sunday, April 1, 2012. We are no strangers to the Hermitage - we have visited the restaurant two to three times a year since its renovation. However, we have never stayed at the Inn overnight. I must say, there have usually been issues with the restaurant in the past...

Enjoyed an first-class six course dinner, and live music on New Year's Eve at the Hermitage Inn. The food was unreal, each dish better than the next. The food ranged from raw himachi (tuna) with grannysmith apple shavings & jalapeño, to a soft-boiled egg with caviar, to a citrusy-lemon shrimp soup, a filet mignon with mushrooms, a lake-fish from Spain...

My husband had such a fabulous vacation here. Our room was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the service was wonderful. Even though we only stayed for two days, I left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Can't wait to go back!

We have not yet stayed here but were about to book a stay when I read the review that mentioned a 20% 'service charge' automatically added to each night's stay. I checked with the reservations desk and they confirmed that this is indeed their practice. Needless to say I changed my mind about the booking. I'm sure the place is...

In addition we rented snow shoes from the Hermitage and did some great hiking up to what was the old Haystack Mountain ski area. From the fresh" beautifully prepared pub fare to devine white table cloth dining in their main dining room - the food at Hermitage is sublime and unforgettable! The atmosphere is quaint, and inviting and the staff is always friendly and extremely adept at true service.

Fantastic option to stay close enough to the slopes and far away to enjoy a terrific intimate Inn with state of the art accomodations (bedroom and bath). The entire staff was extraordinary from the Inn's manager (who gave us a lift to the slopes) to the bartender and restaurant staff. The breakfast and dining options were terrific with well prepared...

My new wife and I came here for a short get away after our wedding. Our dinner was out of this world. The service was terrific. If your the type that wants to be in and out of a restaurant in an hour or think fine dinning for two is the outback go there instead. When they seat you the...
