If you plan to arrive at Stowe Cabins in the Woods, you better do it early...the place is extremely dark, we can't even find our cabin. don't know where to put the trash, no housekeeping service. Very pricey. We had the king-size bed...old soft mattress.

My sister and I stayed in cabin#11 for 3 nights. We enjoyed the peace and quiet . #11 is a modern cabin with spa. Very large and roomy! The kitchen was not well stocked. There was no instruction given as to where the trash from cabin could be brought to or emptied out. We had to walk over to the...

We enjoyed the deck and the gas grill and I even tried the gas fireplace one night. With cable TV in 3 rooms, fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker,...

Loved the cabin and grounds, very clean. Beautiful little stream flowing near by the cabin. The owner was friendly. Very private, off the road. Would have liked a hiking trail but we were not told of any nearby.

Looking for an "authentic" log cabin at the last minute we stumbled across this place. Set in the forest and off the main road it was perfect for us. The cabins are close together, the rooms are a little small and the decor super old school but they're comfy, warm and welcoming. The cabins have a great relaxed vibe; perfect...

First the good: the owner (or manager) is really helpful and friendly, and the location between Waterbury and Stowe is very nice. Very pretty area. The cabin looked clean and had everything we needed, but it smelled suspiciously like a previous tenant's pet did not get to go out when they needed to. Also, it was easy to find the...

Wanted a place not too far from Boston (3 hours) that accepted dogs and was near the Long Trail. Owner was friendly and knowledgeable, rooms were basic detached units but clean and comfortable. A little way out of Stowe but worth the drive. Will definitely come back.
