The Grunberg Haus Bed and Breakfast was recommended to us by a friend who knows we love visiting Vermont. By far, this was our best stay! Duane and Leah were the most accommodating, friendly hosts and the eclectic and whimsical atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and comfortable. The billiards room, tavern and fireplace room were all conversation pieces filled with such...

We stayed at the Grunberg Haus in February on our first stop on a multi-destination ski trip. We stayed with for two nights but would have loved to stay longer. It is a bed and breakfast and it has some quaint "cabin in the woods" characteristics but it also has a younger vibe with snowboards decorating the pool room and...

We stayed at Grunberg Haus for one night before leaving Vermont after a week long ski vacation... what a treat. The inn has new owners (just a year in) and they are a super nice couple ... very chill and accommodating. We were 2 families with 9 people and Grunberg Haus was ideal... we had 4 rooms and all were...

The owners were the nicest people I've ever met. We stayed for one night, but my boyfriend and I were saying how we could stay there for a week. The room was so nicely decorated with skis, sleds, and skates. It was wintery perfection. We played pool and cozied up by the fire in the common areas. All in all,...

Excellent ambience for a quintessential Vermont vacation. Rustic yet clean. Character and comfortable. Inn keepers perfectly attentive. Big fireplaces to sit in front of with plenty of wood beside. Lots of common areas to relax in, snack, drink, eat (including take out from local grocery store when going restaraurants gets old). Perfectly located for access to multiple ski areas including sugar...

We stayed at Grunberg Haus while on a ski trip to the area. It was convenient to Bolton Valley and Stowe. Room was very comfortable. Hosts were terrific. We had to leave very early one of the mornings to join the Camels Hump Challenge ski touring event. Leah made sure we could have breakfast before leaving, despite it being well...

My husband, our dog and I stayed at the Grunberg B&B for 4 nights February 18-22. We had a great experience there, and would recommend it to any one looking for a mountain escape with magnificent views outdoor, with much charm and warmth inside. The included breakfast were delicious with a warm cooked dish daily. Drinks (coffee, tea, hot chocolate)...

I sat here for awhile trying to find the perfect words to describe our two nights at Grunberg Haus Bed & Breakfast. It was seriously indescribable how magical & amazing this place and the inn keepers are. My boyfriend and I are huge Vermont lovers, often disappearing for the weekend to explore and snowboard. Upon checking in around 5pm we...

I have stayed here before the new owners and have always enjoyed this "back in the day" chalet in the woods. The new owners have made it even nicer. The new billiard room is perfect. The breakfast was amazing, one of the best I've had at a B+B. I will stay here again. Short drive to Waterbury where the are...

This 11 bedroom B&B has so much charm and fun decor. Each bedroom is unique in its size & style and works great for single travelers too! The innkeepers also own the 3 cabins on the property which are under renovation for the Spring. The first floor common areas include a funky bar with tabletops refrigerator and snacks. The office...
