We were fortunate to come across this unit and rented it for the 2014/2015 ski season at Sugarbush. We could not have found a better place! The owners are fabulous people.. Super nice, very responsive incredibly accommodating. The unit is so nice and cozy, and stocked with conveniences. This unit allowed pets which is rare for a rental and a...

My family had a wonderful stay at Unit 15 (Moosetracks). The owners are responsive and easygoing and made the rental process totally seamless. The condo itself is wonderful. Perfect for a ski weekend. It's cozy, but has enough room for hanging out. I wanted a place where we could put all of our ski gear, have places to sleep, and...

I've skied Mad River for almost 30 years, and am pretty well acquainted with the area and the local folks. These condos are great affordable options for people with well-behaved dogs who are visting the area to ski and enjoy the outdoors. At the risk of stating the obvious, I'll add that if you require room service or daily housekeeping,...

I stayed at Unit 15 at Powderhound. The resort has condos for rental by owners as well as a "hostel" where one can rent a bed. A number of reviews here don't refer to the unit number, which doesn't help as since you're renting someone's private home, each unit is very different - like different homes in the same neighborhood,...

It is important to note that each condo unit is privately owned and managed and reviewers should review each unit individually (by unit number) as quality could vary. Also worthy of mention, as a regular visitor, I have seen the property change greatly in just three years. Major improvements have been made and continue to be made. These include a...

My husband and I recently stayed in unit 37 with our dog. The unit is slightly older, but in decent shape. It was clean and well cared for, but its probably time for a few upgrades. The offsite management didn't bother us, we knew what we were getting into. But at the same time we ran out of paper towels...

We stayed at powderhound condos over the holiday and found them to be great. They are located close to a bar/restaurant called hostel Tevere which consists of friendly people, affordable local pints, and good breakfast/food. Sugarbush resort is a short 5 minute drive up the road. The condos are smaller but suit the needs for those coming to VT for...

Several of our family members drove hundreds of miles for a weekend in Vermont. We chose the Powderhound based on our ability to bring our dog. We spoke to one of the owners (?) who was very gracious and helpful. The booking process was confusing. None of us were ever sure just who we were dealing with. The morning of...

Do not stay at the powderhound condos. We had stuff stolen, with value in excess of $4000, from the condo and from the storage closet. The people living in the other condos are sketchy, as in entering condos without permision, and speaking with people in warren they say that a very large drug dealer lives near this place. It is...

My wife and I just returned from a trip to Sugarbush ski resort and booked a condo at the Powderhound, Unit 17 to be exact. We have traveled to Vermont to ski more then a couple of times and were very pleasantly surprised by this condo. First it was immaculate and up to date. We read the reviews before going...

“Talk to Bill at CMS Vermont about what you're looking for. There are variations from unit to unit, which is why they are priced differently. He's an honest guy who has always been forthcoming with me.”
