The new innkeeper is creating a hip yet homey atmosphere, drawing from a precious New England world that is rare to find any more. Felt well taken care of on all levels. Loved the river and trails too.

LAREAU FARM INN IS AUTHENTIC VERMONT in all its country splendor. The Inn and the staff is a real, not homogenized, family, loving experience in a real farm house, very clean, perfectly VT decore, very functional with the wonderful patina of life that only years can provide. It is like coming home every visit (and we stay here a lot)....

The Inn is very pretty- we had seen it on air bnb and then called directly and our stay last weekend was absolutely lovely. Attached to the Inn itself is "American Flatbread" which specializes in local-grown and made Vermont fare, beer, and cider. Lizbeth and the rest of the staff were very nice and our stay was casual. The breakfast...

Spoiler Alert: if you're a luxury hotel junkie, don't enjoy mixing with people and are aloof to a homestyle setting, this venue is not for you! Conversely... if you're seeking something a smidgin' "Country/Farm upscale", eclectic, homey, exuded warmth, people friendly, unexpected touches around each corner, and the like... this is your ticket! Upon entry, an Innkeeper's note directed us...

My ski buddy and I spent two nights there for a ski weekend. Had a delightful stay. Location is perfect, a mile from the access road to Sugarbush, right next door (same ownership) as Flatbread Pizza (WONDERFUL). Lizbeth was very easy to work with on the reservations and during our stay. She is a fabulous cook and breakfast was a...

This is, hands down, one of our favorite places. Period. Down-to-earth, cozy, welcoming, real, and full of charm. My partner and I first found Lareau when we were looking at places to get married - and we fell in love with it. We've stayed many times since: before, during, and after our wedding, and always instantly feel like we're being...

We have been coming here for a few years now and we are never disappointed. The woman who runs the inn is extremely sweet and friendly. The class a service really makes the trip with it. Breakfast in the mornings are on point and of course the flatbread is amazing. The rooms are modestly sized but are very clean and...

Great location, fabulous breakfasts, comfortable surroundings, family friendly atmosphere. This is the best kept secret in the valley. We are five time repeat customers and look forward to our next stay.

We made a last minute, one-night visit to Waitsfield and were lucky enough to get a room at the Lareau Farm Inn. It’s exactly the kind of country inn I love. Every place you look, there is something to enjoy – original hardwood floors and built-in cupboards, pictures and books and games, antiques and collectibles – but not the scary,...

In October I had the opportunity of spending three glorious days at Lareau Farm with 15 women attending a retreat. I truly believe that Lisbeth and the Staff helped to make this the a wonderful, worthwhile visit but the environment and beauty of the Inn and the grounds would make any trip worthwhile. Check this place out.
