its a skiers paradise. snowboarders heaven. a foodie lovenest. the lift lines move quick and the terrain keeps going. cannot wait to go back next season. its only a short 4 hour drive from new york city, and the resort is truly ski on and off. the lodges feature real southern bbq and other tasty choices!

We just got back from a week at Stratton. First of all, the mountain is big and beautiful, providing almost 100 trails, with something for all ages and levels. Our 5 year old son skied for the first time ever and attended the little cub ski school. The school and its instructors are AMAZING. They took such good care of... More

During a season in which Mother Nature has been particularly cruel to skiers, Stratton has managed to salvage a dismal situation. Stratton makes snow whenever possible and grooms trails every night. Although Stratton is not immune from thin snow cover and patches of ice, the number of open trails and the manageable condition is probably unsurpassed in the East. We... More

Can't believe how $ focused customer service is. If you need real customer service you'll get a nice smile and zero help. Today, with the frozen ice and with nearly every lift broken down , they'd rather have us risk life and limb than give credit to ski another day. My father has skied for 50 years. He's 73, but... I am a mom who takes teenagers skiing. We are a few hours away, so we do day trips.I sit in the lodge and read a book while the kids are on the mountain. I have taken teens to Stratton on two occasions. Once was fantastic because it was on a day that they did not have school, but it... More

2/11/16-Stratton was beautiful but conditions could have been better. The snow conditions were great but the wind chill was below 0 and whiteout conditions most of the day. I did manage to ski for about 3 hrs but it was a struggle at age 67. i would go back in a minute when conditions are better.

Stratton is a great family resort. We love how everything is in walking distance. The lessons are great for kids and adults. The condos at long trail are beautiful and comfortable. The new renovations are beautiful.

We usually do a trip to Okemo every year, but switched it up and decided to check out Stratton. Mountain was great! Little Icey when we went but overall a great 2 days of snowboarding! Also not many snowboarders on this mountain! Not sure if that's normal, but we were def the minority! Def will be back!

We usually stay at Obertal. It is a few minute walk from the village either along trail or by sidewalk, but condos are reasonable and all have fireplaces. We generally stay in the E or F building. Love the village and shops.

Based on last year's great snow season we book early in 2015 and stayed at Founders 306. This is a two BR condo with a gas fireplace, sleeps 6, simply decorated, with a private shuttle, private workout room, lockers, and a nice lady that handles the coffee and muffins in the morning. The only issues is that the room air... More
